in Download Apple Safari 3.1, the World’s Fastest Browser on Sizlopedia
Wow! I had no clue Apple had released this for windows. Thanks for the link. It does seem quite snappy.
I wonder how it will do in the long term after getting some cookies and caching under it's belt.
But so far, whew...it's fast

in Does Your Unsubscribe Page Look Like this? on The Marketing Technology Blog
Douglas, this is a good tip. My unsubscribe isn't that bad by all means, but it's not dazzling either. I ask why they unsubscribed and thank them for reading.
But I think it's a good idea to revisit the page to see what they see and make sure it's the message you want to leave them with.

in Google improves Google Mobile Experience on Sizlopedia
I'd really like it if Google would build a mobile friendly version of google Docs that lets you edit your documents. Right now you can just read them.

in Microsoft StartKey, Carry Your Desktop on a USB Drive on Sizlopedia
I was looking for a roaming profile solution to give to some of the people on my network. This might be better if it works as stated.
I have a U3 drive too and really like it. But I hadn't heard about the corruption issue.

in The Four-Book Workweek on The Michel Fortin Blog
The part of The 4 hour workweek I think is extraordinary is his explanation of the Parado principal. I've know the Parado principal for years, but the way he explains it makes it extremely motivating.
It's worthwhile reading 4 hour workweek for that chapter alone. The rest is good too.

in Are You Too Busy Working? You Might Suffer From Work Tunnel Vision on LifeDev
I loved this post. I has come at a great time in my life. I'm a full time student, wife, mother, and part time teacher. It is easy to get tunnel vision in one area. My family is the most important thing in my life and I need to make sure I have time for them and myself.

in Split Testing With Wordpress on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
It is funny, I was looking for something just like this. We can split test on HTML pages, but not WordPress? Apparently not anymore. I am going to give this plug-in a try. Thanks Andy!

in Do Bloggers Always Follow Their Own Advice? on Instigator Blog
Ben, this is a great question for the bloggers out there. Personally, I'm a little paranoid that I will run into a reader and they will catch me not doing as I had instructed on my blog. Like everyone, I slip every now and again. But for the most part, I like to think that I would do as I preached on my blog.
A workaround if you do not intend on following your own advice is to clarify some people do the particular thing you are instructing your readers to do. That way, you get to give the information without necessarily having to follow it.
Let me give you an example. Recently I wrote a series on effective self-promotion techniques. In it, I did include some self-promotion strategies that other people use, but not necessarily me. Not every strategy presented is going to work for me personally. Since my readers are salespeople, entrepreneurs, students and people from other walks of life not all of my tips are suitable for every category of reader.
Having the perspective that you are going to give complete information means including tips and advice that doesn't necessarily pertain to yourself.

in The Blogging A-List Is Far From Dead on Instigator Blog
Bret makes a good point. There is a lot of pressure on bloggers to be A listers, but one question to ask is "why?" If you are a b or c lister, are you doing what is needed to satisfy your current readers?
Having a small group of loyal readers and giving them the content they need is just as important as the strive to be A-list

in Getting Things Blogged: Processing Potential Entries with GTD on J.T Dabbagian.com
Feeddemon is great for this type of strategy. It has both flags and newsbins which allow you to break down stuff into small lists. I'm not affiliated with the company, just like the software.
I've tried all sorts of online readers and they just don't do it for me.

in 2007/06/13/comment-tracking/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
I forgot all about Co.mments. When it was first released, you could comment to one of their posts and it would track that post forever. There was no way to delete your link to the test post.
I gave up on it because I was tired of being pinged many times a day with "Test!" "This is a test post". LOL
Do they allow you to delete comments you don't want to follow anymore?

in Boost Exposure With These Tips And Plugins on The Michel Fortin Blog
Michel, nice post, lots of good references. Looks like I have some reading ahead and plugins to install.
One of the dichotomies...err. trichotomies.. I wrestle with is which subscribe option(s) to make available. Newsletter subscribe option, RSS subscribe option AND straight RSS subscribe? I have all three. Is that what you suggest or do I have too many subscribe options?
P.S I thought I might mention that I had some issues installing the Sociable plugin. If others have this trouble they might want to try Bookmark Me

in Naming Your Stuff Makes It Feel More Important on Duct Tape Marketing
I like this idea and have started trying it. Some of the "naming" that stick out to me in marketing is when someone makes up a contradictory saying. Such as when they say something like "Use the 'gentle-strongarm' technique to convince your customer to buy. Or use "our verbal ju jitsu technique" to win any argument.

http://technorati.com/blogs/tag/seo?page=4
They are normally listed in order of authority, and it is partially correct, but Technorati have explained to me that there are some syncing problems.
There also seems to be a major bug in reporting favorites today
