in CrunchyRoll, The Hulu Focus On Anime And Asian Content on MOBINODE
i think they are moving in the right direction. but having said that, the hardcore fans will still be torrenting some of their content but i think with gradual education crunchyroll will grow.
eventually they may get into the other parts of the anime eco system, from conferences to toys/merchandise.

in Tagged Raised $5 Million And Available For Acquisition on MOBINODE
kudos to the tagged team to be profitable and raise a 5m debt to shore up for a couple of bumpy years. although a little crowded in terms of SNS space but I think post post april 09, the cash rich online/media maybe on the prowl, good time to chat about a trade sale but with the 5m infusion and a steady or growing net profit, they are probably not in a rush.

in Six winners for NRF Early Stage Venture Fund on Master of the Obvious
Well said.
Home grown ICT sector in Singapore is regretfully small and has few venture successes.
The real innovations pretty much will come from individuals who are already entrepreneurs or about to become one or hidden within research institutes. You really need a set of investors who have seen the majority of the dealflow out there in the universe plus being a little more optimistic and less risk adverse than most to make this effort even remotely workable.
NRF may not have an IRR target in mind but a national agenda to "develop". Hence patience is indeed the word well said.
