Black is usually a fingerprint magnet. I will say this is a 3 phone race for me now, the White N97, Black N97 and the N86.

The N86 is far better suited for my use of a phone, mainly the camera and the form factor. The N97 is impressing me because of the screen, memory and its the 'flagship' phone.

The N97 will have Skype built in, this is one of the first to have such software included out of the box.

Depends what you use a phone for, the N86 8MP is due not that long after the N97 and is more of a camera phone due to the 8mp camera. The N97 is more of an all-round multimedia phone with the large touch scrreen and 32GB memory.

No networks have shown interest outside of their company walls, I am sure most if not all networks will pick it up in their range due to supply and demand. We demand it so they supply it.

I don't work for Nokia (although if Nokia are reading you can always click the contact link and drop me a line :) ). I have my own main job i do to help fund my hobby which is basically this site. I don't buy all the phones myself they are supplied on loan by WOM World and Nokia to review and post back but its really cool with the extras you get. When i can get time off i try to attend the press events like Symbian Smartphone Show and this year Nokia World fingers crossed.

1) No the N97 wont be Comes With Music, that is set for the XpressMusic handsets like the 5800

2) No info on any confirmed UK networks yet, rumor was O2 and Orange were not totally happy because of the Skype function but this has not been confirmed. Also im sure they will have to sell it or risk loosing many customers.

3) Sim free the N97 will be between £500 - £700 depending where you look and remember this is a sought after phone and will be a premium price at launch, it will drop though and will be much better with a network contract

hi Mike. The E75 has started shipping from Nokia so you should see it quite soon :)

the N97 price has been going up and down between £629.99 and £689.99 for a while now. Should know a better price nearer the time.

As the the 8MP camera that is in the new N86 8MP, the N97 has a 5 megapixel camera but does have 32gb of internal storage

I am now using a N79 and 6120 and it really shows to me now how much detail Nokia put into their ESeries over the NSeries.

Maybe the N97 and N86 will change that... time will tell

HSDPA is also known as 3.5G and is a faster version of the internet. This is also what USB modems use to get faster speeds.

GPS is used in Nokia Maps to find where you are anywhere in the world just like Sat Nav on a TomTom in a car.

At the moment no idea which UK networks are taking it, i have asked around and initial questioning of Vodafone they MIGHT NOT be taking it but this can change over night so we shal see.

Sim free you will be looking between £350.00 and £400.00 so if you were happy with this why not change to a Sim Only contract and get more for your money and then buy the phone outright?

T-Mobile are offering 600 mins, Unlimited Texts and 1GB of free Internet on 30 day plans at the moment which is great for on the E75 (thats what im using mainly)

indeed the PIN messaging could make an appearance on Nokia. I have been waiting for this feature for AGES!. As someone who is getting a Nokia E75 i am hoping this is the case. A friend of mine over at BerryTastic has been on at me to get a BlackBerry for months and only reason i would was PIN messaging... NOKIA... RIM... PLEASE!!

the cover is really tight and the battery lasts for a good 3 days with use

i have to agree although the amount of phones rumored to launch at MWC next week is impressive with the E75 and now what looks like MAYBE a 8mp Carl Zeiss Nokia we will have to see

The N97 appears to be the 'Ivalo' from the list. Follow-on to IP08. 3.5-inch wide touchscreen, 32GB ROM, AGPS, FM transmitter and receiver, 5MP camera, WiFi, TV-out, Bluetooth...... seems spot on to me

UK is due around February

Having just had a G1 to use for a few days from work, Market was a real joy to use and i installed about 10 apps on day 1 all over the air on the G1.

it was due Q4 this year but has been put back until Jan/Feb in the UK. There are a few countries who are getting it already

voda being voda they wont touch CWM you will have to get sim free like me.

120fps is not new now that LG have 2 phones with it so it would be good for Nokia to have this although I will be happy with a 8mp Carl Zeiss lens to start with.

120fps would be handy once we get into HD video on mobiles but that is a way off yet
