Interesting. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. But I'm looking forward to it!

As long as the church is based on weekly services (which most are); then the church is NOT innovative.

I just wanted to try to clarify something I read in the previous comments.

The "feminization of the church" is just a phrase that has become sexy to use lately.

It just describes how modern contemporary church services really do a lot to appeal to women. Men seem to be less interested in church because the service is unrelatable.

The most often used example is worship music. Modern worship is largely these big-anthem-ballad-love-song-fests. While women may love to sing these songs and look forward to it as a weekly activity. Men might be more prone to look forward to softball and food.

It's just a theory. It has some obvious problems. But it also has a little merit.

Well, most Americans don't take Christianity seriously. So this scandal will undoubtedly support that position.

The Bible clearly asks us to choose our church leaders extremely carefully. We reap what we sow when when nepotism decides leadership and not God's appointment.

This is about Christians making an easy buck. This does little to nothing to fulfill the Great Commission.

Ask yourself this. Would your christian child play this game with their non-christian friends? If the answer is yes, then it might be worth a look.

I think most christians are mistaught. Most churches emphasize either "Get them baptized and get them tithing" or "prosperity gospel". It's actually rare for a church to teach the realities of being a Jesus follower.

slideshare also lets you add audio to your presentation. That's cool.

Assuming that most people use itunes for catching podcasts; you could also distribute as am Enhanced Poldcast.

I love the heart behind this post. I really do. My question is this: What's more important

1. Leading people before the throne of the most high God?

2. Memorizing a catalog of songs.

If I'm challenging my team to take time to learn, practice and memorize songs. Then I'm creating work to do that gives them less time to perform the great commandment and commission. I would rather have them doing that.

in What if… on LOL: Life of Leo
Leo, I'm a big fan of your podcasts and your point of view. But I'm going to disagree with you about the iPhone.

The fact of the matter is that in the USA; the cell phone business has always been a razor and razorblades paradigm. To solely blame Apple is to ignore the partnership with AT&T that made the successful launch of the product possible.

Yeah Apple could let people unlock phones and add apps carte blanch. But what company would be willing to sign an exclusive contract with them ever again? Leo, if you signed an exclusive agreement; wouldn't your integrity motivate you to honor those agreements?

For some reason Apple is being held to a different standard than all the other players in the cell phone market. That's not right. the iPhone is not a computer even though it has computer-like functionality. It's Cell phone with added features.

In regards to the iPhone; Don't judge them by what you want them to be. Judge them by the reality of the rest of the cell phone industry.
