As I said, the new clients built-in the 5730XM, 6720 Classic, and E55 are miles better than the E75's and N86's.

The implementation on the E75 sucked big time... I sad that the N86 is also in the same boat. I've had many interactions with Nokia Messaging people myself and I know the headaches you must've gone through. Nokia Messaging is a great app, I must admit, it works great whenever I install it. But when it's built in (E75) it, for some reason performs horribly.

Hope the E72 does not have the same gremlins..... if it does, then it's gonna be a deal breaker for me!

indeed the N86 is truly stunning.... I'm slowly starting to like this N86... funny how the all the N8xx phones grow on you... it's the workhorse of the Nseries.

let's be honest Mike... all of that is just regular Marketing and PR speak for the regular customers asking that question.

The fact remains that N82 was a phone that was 'almost perfect' and recreating a product that is as good and maybe even better with an awesome camera would mean that Nokia would not have repeat purchases from people... Why would you want to change your phone if it did everything wonderfully.

Who would buy the next 8MP devices and the 12MP even?

Nokia doesn't mind losing a small flock of customers if it can gain a bigger flock... That is, according to me, a very bad decision.

Gosh I hope that's wrong. If Nokia completely drops Xenon on their "Imaging" oriented devices that'd be a really really stoopid decision.
But then again with the sort of devices they've been releasing lately, it sort of looks like they have :(

I read somewhere that Nokia is burying xenon... and if they are doing it... that's bad... The xenon is what set the N82 apart from the lowly devices... chucking xenon is a bad business decision!

Luck you :) I wish I get a N97.... The haptic feedback is also neat... the thing vibrates a bit when u press certain keys... and it's much more responsive...

that's good to hear, especially that the touch based controls are better on the 5800xm than the N97. The 5800 is really annoying to use after a day or so, it just takes so much work to push the screen. Holy Crap! I can't wait for mine to arrive today.

no problems in using it, was as easy as pie... I did not have to press the screen or push... the touch based controls are much better on the N97... a far cry from the 5800 controls.
