yeah. i remember in counterstrike I had really good aim, but there were younger better people than me for sure. I generally did better than those people though because they were much more likely to storm 6 people and believe they'd kill every single person instead of out maneuvering 6 people and picking them off.

I'm forty, I play hitscan and have retained a lot of my twitch skill from my 20s (actually I think I might be better now than I was in my counterstrike days) and I 100% agree with you. OW proved there was room for a game that had hitscan heroes and less twitch reliant heroes balanced in the same space together... and it feels like they're losing sight of that with each passing day. it's incredibly disappointing. They're trying to make moira more "skill based" and I'm just like.. whats the problem here. she has effective counters. Is the problem that she's overpowered or is the problem that people hate losing duels to her and it feels like it takes no skill to win? because the latter of the two shouldn't matter.

I don't 100% agree with this post but I think there is some validity to the idea that the game started as an accessible shooter that had unique heroes that required skills beyond point and click. Slowly those heroes are getting tweaked so that their skills fall in a bucket of more familiar point and click skills.

Part of this is because the majority of fps players play point and click heroes, and when a character doesn't require point and click skill but is designed to counter point and click heroes there's an uproar about the game rewarding skilless play.

The game feels like it's heading in a direction where pure mechanical skill is the most valued skill to have. I personally don't think that's a good direction to go.

PS I play mostly McCreebefore you respond that this was posted by a mercy main that can't aim.

These things were the worst purchase ever made. Had an ASUS on hub and thought I would , "upgrade" that set up with a mesh. These things don't even make an attempt at QOS, so if anyone uploads something and it saturates your upstream you're in for huge ping spikes and packet loss

Only two types of people like role queue in qp
1. People that only play healer or tank
2. People that only main one character in one role

Anyone that plays ow the way Jeff envisioned, flexing from role to role to counter the enemy's comp in a back and forth rock paper scissors, match hates this change

Honestly feel like the five dps problem was so over hyped in qp. Yeah 30% of games started with a bad unworkable comp but once the first point or round was lost people generally someone would leave or someone would flex to other roles. No one likes losing and 5dps comps rarely win.
Now the game just sucks. I wait ten minutes and get in a game, our tank line sucks or are bad picks for the map or enemy comp, but I can't switch to tank to correct it. Healer dpsing too much and letting people die? Can't switch to correct. To say nothing about the loot box tank and healers that basically have no idea how to play their picks since they only jump on for a loot box. And because the games take so long to queue up weaker players don't leave. Just turns into 10 minutes of waiting for a hopeless match only to wait again.

Just gonna stick to qp classic in arcade

This misses the point entirely. The reason people post 1 at a time is because it's more likely to sell that way. The reason it's more likely to sell that way is because people don't want to buy an entire stack of materials if they only need an exact number. Just make it so a buyer can choose to buy an exact amount of items off a stack even if it's posted together.

I mean that's fair. I'm glad Amazon is around as they make very cheap and solid devices and Amazon's built a great ecosystem with Prime. All I'm saying is Amazon plays dirty and this wasn't Google locking Amazon out to be anti competitive. This was the FIRST retaliation against Amazon after years of Amazon being anti competitive. Painting Google as the bad guy here is misleading.
Amazon removed all chromecast devices from their stores
Amazon removed Amazon video compatibility from Google TV devices
Amazon pirated Youtube on the view and broke all of Google's monetization functionality.
Google blocked youtube in response to the last thing on this list and really hasn't done anything in response to the other two offenses. Anyone looking at the history between Google and Amazon that comes out branding Google as the bad guy here is either ill informed, an Amazon fanboy, or a Google hater.

you realize amazon blocked google tv from amazon video and other amazon apps and blocked all google competing products. google tried to work out a deal for several years... so yeah this was a last resort.

I owned one for 2 seconds and the screen was enough for me to return it. BEFORE YOU DOWN VOTE ME... I actually think the screen is fine. I have a pixel XL and as much as I wanted the xl 2 I could barely justify upgrading.the screen was enough to convince me to return the phone. That said if I were upgrading from a Nexus six or just about any other phone I would have kept it. The screen is so not a deal breaker it's just not the best and definitely not better than the pixel XL sadly.

The problem for me is I have a pixel XL. My upgrade was already hard to justify without all the bad press. I really wanted to keep the phone but ultimately for the price it needed to be perfect and it wasn't. the burn in in particular spooked me

Yeah I just asked for a return literally after my shipping notification. I went to Verizon Friday saw the image.. wasn't ecstatic but decided it wasn't bad enough to cancel. But burn in is a massive deal breaker
