i think it's really healthy to write about things that trouble you, but you don't need to publish everything you write. It gives an air of desperation, and even though i have never met this chick, I doubt she's as awful as you are claiming now, else you never would have been friends with her for a decade. i completely disagree. i've seen way more positive comments then negative ones, and the negative ones i have seen have been necessary. i'm sure there are some people that say hurtful things for the sake of being hurtful, but a lot of the times from what i've seen it's just been straight honesty. if people are confessing horrible things about wanting to cheat or wanting to hurt someone else, i think it's constructive for people to tell them why that's not ok. really bad comments should just be reported, and people need to stop overreacting at genuine feedback just because it's not what they want to hear. if you don't like comments, don't read them. if you take them away it's just going to cause people spamming up the confessions trying to have conversations again.
