I think u should now stop posting CW ratings along with the big networks, it's just awful to look at.

I really feel CW should turn into a distributor to place it's GEMS in the right place (CABLE). Reaper would do gr8 on USA, sandwiched between Monk and Psych. What do u think about the following trade?

Smallville -> ABC family
Supernatural -> SciFi channel
Reaper -> USA network
Gossip Girl -> MTV
ANTM -> BRAVO
Beauty & Geek -> VH1
One Tree Hill -> ABC family
Everybody Hates Chris, Girlfriends, Game, Aliens in America -> TBS

I would love to see you talking anything about sitcoms or 52 week network schedule or whether telenovelas would succeed on BIG networks (NBC making Without breasts there is no paradise), or anything else u want.

They don't have to put necessarily put events on saturdays but something that people would watch loyally. "Price is Right" would do great on saturdays. Fridays and Saturdays are the thursday nights of Cable channels, and cable has loyal audiences and they pull just as many people as broadcast networks do on saturdays, networks can cash much more if they want.

Finally someone is talking about abc! Ugly Betty and Samantha Who? are surely gonna return and Miss Guided and Eli Stone are good enough for one more season and they will fare better if placed on the right day and right time. Supernanny and Wife Swap will be useful again next year against American Idol, so they'll keep them as well.

NCAA and Survivour are big competitors and Im pretty positive about its future. It really needs to be scheduled well, a comedy block or Dancing as a regular lead-in isnt too much to ask. Its a sitcom after all, they can't make it big all by themselves these days.

I dont find Samantha annoying at all. But it breaks my heart to see a show with this huge potential all bcoz of its catchy concept, being one dimensional. If I was producing the show, I would have added a lot to it, Soap-esque mystery element as she was the victim of hit and run, Seinfeld-esque humour which would be used when she learns the littlest everyday things in life and a lot more.

How can Desperate Housewives go from 19 to 16 million, and is this the lowest rated episode of The Simpsons ever? Were they not publicized enough? bcoz no one seems to be gaining the viewers that these shows lost, so where did these people go?

Whats the sudden slump? all the shows are down from last week and look at HowIMYM and TheBBT, and DancingWTS lost 2 million, whats happening? I hope TV isn't outdated by the time I enter the industry. And u seem to be really worried about TERMINATOR, this is the first tv season that I'm following day to day, so I've never felt the grief of a show's departure in real-time. Any shows of the past u wish u had more of?

GG did good considering that almost every show is under the weather, I mean atleast it didn't lose any viewers and has perhaps gained few.

I think the show is sheer trash but it is shot spectacularly and those clothes, OMG! I love NY.

They haven't aired the post-strike episodes yet and I don't think that is happening any soon. Terminator was on 2 hours ago, I think it was 7th episode, not sure, but Pushing Daisies would take its slot soon.

I was thinking of the same thing, I bet if MTV airs reruns of Gossip Girl it'll get as many viewers as it does on CW, its gotta do with the incapabilities of this network.

I stick to my earlier comment that CW shows should be on cable. I mean Everybody Hates Chris doesn't cross the 2 million mark on "CW" and House of Payne gets 3 million viewers on "TBS".

And its weird that these girls love 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls and they also watch The OC and Gossip Girl.

6 million would be the live audience and a minority but EVERYONE would be recording the show even if they don't really wanna watch it. I think with DVR becoming pervasive, there would be huge surge in audience numbers. And internet in no way can replace the quality of TV screen. If people are looking for interactivity then set-top boxes in atleast UK already have those features.

It's not the networks to be concerned about but the shows, if a show is high concept then no matter how people watch it, the sum total should be impressive.

So if there is a show drawing 20 million people live and there is another show drawing 10 million live and 10 mil more in next 2 days and demo numbers are equal then advertisers would pay the same price for both?

CBS should have replaced moonlight with a thriller rather than the ex-list, now it's gonna be like men in trees. They really should be proud of the line-up that they have on fridays, I mean 9 million every FRIDAY night is seriously huge!

I'm really curious what CW comedies would reap on fridays and yeah even FOX's game shows and also ABC's reality shows and NBC's Life and FNL

It's crazy to me how crazy some people get about sci-fi shows, u had 16 episodes in less than a year, in UK they have just 6 episodes each year and still people seem satisfied.

Thats hilarious, Mad Men is an underdog but Gossip Girl is way overrated and I don't think it has received any praise for its lack of substance and story
