Yeah especially since Christianity is all about love and peace. Gag. Sometimes I think we make God who we would be if we were gods. Hey we don't know anything about love but man we sure know how to do the violence/hatred/intolerance thing. Too bad God got tricked. Anyhow, how did he have a son so different from himself?

We grumble and grouse about our economic disaster. We grab greedily and gluttonously anything and everything to plug our hearts against the plights of our sisters and brothers. We are immune to sorrow and suffering-we do not deign to stretch out a pudgy hand to the starved, starved for love and peace and brotherhood. Great God what on earth are we doing! At one time I blamed God for the suffering in the world, blamed him for sitting back and watching, maybe laughing. I weep to find his people doing the same. Where is the Jesus that once walked the earth? Oh God if we could have him now in the hands and feet and skin of humans, humans who learn to love.
