Haha I was doing a mix on 8tracks yesterday, spent 2 hours thinking about some underrated jewels from Rahman, was going to publish it when I got the warning that you can't have more than 2 songs from the same artists lol I will try to make another one this evening :) Yours are very very good!

I haven't been following the ramblings lately. For sure, Mauritians have been tweeting a lot lately. I'm seeing posts like 'sorry to this blogger' or 'ethics'... Please, a blog is an extension of your thoughts. When you write something down, just imagine that you've got the rest of the world sitting next to you. Behave like you're supposed to in the real world. (well, this might not apply to the anonymous but one day we'll find who they are http://qdb.us/295604 )

I discovered Imogen with Hide & Seek. There is something different and soulful in her arrangements. It takes time to really enjoy her albums, though; it's very complex. Enjoying her on Spotify right now and about to buy Ellipse soon.

I loved the movie! It seems that the same shooting technique was used for a lock-in syndrome patient in an episode of House.

Piyush Mishra reminds me of someone who'd sing bhajans & kirtans with his harmonium at 7pm in some hindu household in Mauritius. But this time he's got something much better to sing, a greater message to deliver. His act is grandiose in the movie. His comparisons with John Lennon, the scene where he takes out the Rajput map from the dustbin, the way his friend gets killed.

I hope we see more from him, as actor, singer, music director, dialogue writer and what more.

As for Anurag Kashyap, this year belongs to him. He's got fierce competition with Rakeysh Mehra, Vishal Bhardwaj and maybe Rajkumar Irani and Karan Johar, but he'll manage to grab a few trophies. This is a wonderful year for Indian cinema!

10 jours congé pou ralentit nombre de cas. Ki pou fer après sa pou dépan nombre nouveaux cas dans sa 10 jours la. Espérons govt p gagne bon conseil ar ban épidémiologistes et experts en santé public.

Yeah KK Menon is great, I liked the scene where Mahi Gill (his souten lol) was annoying him lol Just downloaded Sankat City too, need to see it when I get time!! I will be watching New York too... Thought I will give Yash Raj and Katrina Kaif a second chance....

Rough and it looked so real! Indeed that's Bhardwaj material, especially with that singing brother and Deepak Dobriyal. And ya, Kay Kay Menon shines as always. He was great in Sankat City as well.

Next on my list is New York (don't ask) and then maybe, i'll watch RGV's Satya again.

It's pretty rough isnt it? The story is just amazing, and I dont think anyone else could have tackled it so brilliantly, apart from Bhardwaj maybe! It's movie-making taken to another level. The thing with watching these movies is that you jst cant watch shit movies lol I was attempting to see a comedy recently, Dhoondte Rahe Jaoge, it was absolutely horrible! So now I can only watch 10 indian movies a year!

Btw I still need to watch Little Zizou lol Gotta to catch up for last yr too! Welcome to Sajjanpur has been in my downloads folder for months!

Hey I finally watched Gulaal! Easily one of the best movies this year. It takes time to build up, but once you get hold of all the pieces, you're engrossed in it. Harsh, complex movie that has been well threaded by Anurag Kashyap.

You're right, if there gona be anything better than Delhi-6 this year, it'll come from Rahman itself!

That's true, I spend lots of time on music. But I tend to give Bollywood soundtracks only one listen. Let's say out of every 3 albums, I find 1 good song. Finding entire albums appealing is rare. Delhi-6, Dev.D, Luck By Chance and maybe Kaminey are the few ones so far.

As for private albums, I just look around. Lately, I've been counting a lot on @milliblog at http://itwofs.com/milliblog/
Chaandan Mein is en excellent album in typical Kailasa style. I love the title track video http://bit.ly/BXIJs
And no Adnan didn't release any pop album last year. Maybe you're talking about semi-classical record 'Another Adnan'
