You need to re-read the line becuase there is not an anti-gay sling in the post. The "worst of all" refers to a potential desire for a crappy drink, so it is indeed related to the blog.

My God! These guys were doing an average of more than 23 miles a day! I've done a marathon, and there is no way I could have done one the next day. Then again, I didn't eat bacon during the race.

You seriously can only buy booze from the government? How do you get recommendations? When's the rebellion? It's bad enough in CT that the liquor stores must be shut on Sunday.

Steve's Ice Cream shop in Huntington, NY was fabulous. It was a small New England chain that also opened a branch in Huntington (considering how many villagers went to high school, sailed, had ski homes and/or island homes in New England, it was a natural extension). The shop had several simple flavors of ice cream, you then picked what would be mixed in, and the shop would put your ice cream on the marble counter while mixing in your Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (for example). It was delicious, and the place to go. Just a 2 mile walk from my parents' house in Lloyd Harbor, so it was perfect for a teenager.

It truly is the best meal. I salivate just thinking about it. You may not buy from Williams-Sonoma ever, but I do. I'm the working wife and mother in the Subaru driving to Vineyard Vines and then WS. In my circle of friends, the little blue box has nothing on any size green box!
