Very cool! I'm kinda sorta in the range of needing a new notebook, but if I can just drop an SSD drive in, this might be just what I'm looking for. Considering that there's a growing focus on desktop replacement laptops, I don't really think it's far off before we start seeing larger and larger ssd drives. Finally, the missing link in performance can be banished along with 5.25 and 3.5 floppy disks.

The difference between a cracked and blown head gasket can be rather hard to diagnose without actually getting in under the hood and removing a whole lotta bits to get to it (depending on your make and model, of course). This physical inspection can cost close to $2000 in labor before you've even got the correct answer to the issue. While I'm not saying that a faulty diagnosis is an excuse, just saying that it's a tricky piece of equipment to get to and quite an expensive proposition any way you look at it. Sorry for your troubles.

Yeah, going to have to agree with the above. While I'm sure there is a positive brand lift happening via AdWords, but 16% is a bit hefty. As Don says, how many of these surveyed had absolutely NO recognition of said product BEFORE the sampling?

An interesting question posed. I guess with all the hype over the iPhone and wide variety of other smart devices, I hadn't actually given any thought to apps being developed for less than current phones, or smartphones in areas of poor reception. I've been testing woopra on a small site I use for testing, and like the results thus far. Sure, I don't think woopra is going to win the hearts and minds of die hard analytics fans, but it's a fast loading script on most sites, and a little compare and contrast data never hurt anyone.

Hmm...interesting to see that fruits are down at the bottom with a recommendation of only 2 per day. It's a well designed food pyramid though with a predominant emphasis on exercise..a lesson all americans could benefit from.

This was actually one of the first things I did after 'upgrading' to Vista. This can significantly reduce a lot of load time and system drag. If you're serious about the way your machine performs...follow the steps above!

Nice tips here. I've found that a bunch of them can be coverd via various wordpress plugins, thereby taking the stress out of 'am I doing this right'? A quick search turned up a number of plugins that address many of these issues.
