Paul Thurrott seems to be enthusiastic about Office Web Apps. I tend to
believe him. And he's pretty much the only one with hands-on experience,

If you created the USB correctly you should see a menu appear at start-up,
after which you usually can just hit <Enter> on the keyboard. After a while,
a graphical user interface should pop up showing your hard drive's layout.
Then you can start partitioning. From what I'm to understand you can't start
up from USB key.

http://gparted.sourceforge.net/documentation.php has some documentation
pages related to partitioning your HDD. I advise you read through those docs
first.

It's best you just download the GParted Live CD. Pop that in and reboot. The
disc will run Linux and GParted from the disc, without the need of
installing Linux to your hard drive.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. They also forgot to mention - then - that if you own a pre-SP1 DVD, there's no easy way to slipstream SP1 onto it. It *is* possible, but you'll have to resort to third-party tools like vLite,

They say that there is a fix included in Vista SP1 (which was already installed on my computer) but I think they forgot to mention that we have to create another installation DVD that includes the SP1... I did not try with a Vista SP1 DVD but I think this could be a solution too.

As Albert stated, I don't think we'll ever see Flash support for the iPhone. Even though Adobe's willing to co-operate in the development, it's Apple that needs to consent. I guess it's a pure strategic move, and there's nothing wrong with it. If I were Apple, I think I'd do the same. However draconian Apple's model is now, it does enable them to control the device top to bottom. That's what makes the iPhone so good.
It's just the nature of the beast, I guess.

And the RAM can be tested using the Memory Diagnostic tool that comes with the Repair function on the Vista install disc.

In fact, NuevaSync is so good and reliable I've forgotten I was using it. I have yet to see anything go wrong with this service. Stability like this is pretty rare.

Note that if you're planning to have sensitive information synced to your iPod Touch, it would be smart to switch on the PIN-code feature in case the device gets into the wrong hands. Other than that, I don't see any reason to not make the jump.

Just subscribe to your friends' calendars in Google Calendar, and make sure it's enabled by ticking the calendar's box in the calendar list. Your new calendar should be pushed to the iPod soon thereafter. I'm sure this works since I used this feature myself.

Calendar entries are stored on the iPod Touch, so yes, you can access them offline. You can also edit your calendar without a connection, since the iPod Touch uses Push to propagate changes. That means that once you get online, any changes are made instantaneously, upstream (from the Touch to the calendar) & downstream (from the calendar to the Touch).

You're welcome. I've never understood why they [Apple/Google] made it so difficult to achieve in the first place, since Google Calendar adheres to the iCal Web Calendar standard.

Check out http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/. In addition to the latest release of Firefox, Filehippo also gives you the opportunity to download any of the previous versions of Mozilla's browser.

Be aware that Mozilla's support cycle for FF2 won't last for a long time. If I'm not mistaken, Mozilla is planning to actively support [and patch] FF2 for 6 months after the RTM of Firefox 3. After that, you're left with an out of date browser, after which you'll be compelled to upgrade, or move to another one entirely.
