in My E71 Battery Life Has Been Stellar. Do You Have Similar Results? on Nokia E71 Fanatics Blogs
I always sweat running out of juice, but there's a new generation of small portable rechargeable external batteries. I got the Just Mobile Gum Pro USB battery pack thing (http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=172465)... which didn't work at first until I got a Nokia USB voltage converter thingie (http://shop.nokia.co.uk/nokia-uk/product.aspx?s...). (The Gum outputs 5 volts; the E71 needs a 6 volt charge.) Anyhow, that works pretty good and it gives me basically infinite battery time now.

Apparently the music player has a problem with certain .mp3 tags. Here's the discussion about that: http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions...

in Fox News Racism Says Powell Will Endorse Obama on The Washington Independent
Isnt it amazing, how so many 'experts' have now decided that so many Black people are voting for Obama because he is Black? When he started in the race, Hillary Clinton had something like 75% of Black voters support and held on to it for quite a while. The majority of Black people that I know are voting for Obama because they think he can do the job, not just because he is Black. If it was that simple, Lenora Fulani would have had Black fueled nationallandslide years ago...

Anyway yes, could Fox news make their racism any more crystal clear? At this point, I doubt it.

This post and the comments to it really reinforces what so many have said elsewhere-- women of color have to organize on our own, because we are clearly not heard or understood by our 'allies'.

"Because they are, respectively, a black man and a woman."

Um, no, they are a black man and a *white* woman. After all of the race and gender stuff that's been going on in socalled "feminist" blogs the last couple of years... the way in which Hillary gets to be 'a woman' because she is is *white* is incredibly disturbing.

in Re-Centering on Shakesville
Colonization damaged a lot of cultures within which women had governance and representation. The Igbo Women's War in Nigeria is a prime, but surely not the only, example of such in Africa.
