Panathinaikos, Man City, Mexiko. Bättre han håller sig till TV.

Re: 유머남이 여자에게 인기 있다고?

방법이 없는데요. -_-;;
정말 날나고 봐야 하는거군요. -_-;;

Re: Question of the day

"Bye, bye Springfield. Here, the people of IL (The AG's clients) should be thankful for such an approach, even if the ILSC doesn't accept her office's approach.

Also, a careful reading of the memo and complaint will show that the "disability" in this context is not the same type of complete cognitive disability required by an insanity defense (though the act of putting forth such a defense in these circumstances would be self-reflexive indeed)

Re: Lisa Madigan under fire

Rich, I'm not sure I see the point? Why not put pressure on SA, who originated the investigation and is now, ostensibly, free of a conflict of interest? What's the angle here? Besides the obvious one of creating some leverage in a high profile Guv primary?

Re: Question of the day

When I saw Brokeback mountain it was opening weekend in N. Lincoln park and I (straight male) was with my girlfriend. I was kind of proud to be the only straight couple I saw in the theater that night. I cherish my gay friends and family, and fight hard for equality in marriage every chance i get. And during the first sex scene, which is passionate, well acted, and between two objectively great looking people, I went 'ick'.

So yes, I think the 'ick' can exist, even for the most progressive of us. Making this a basis of how we treat people, and especially about how we make law, is absurd. If we made no-ick the basis for marriage licenses, only about 4% of the population would be allowed to marry, and most of them would live in Southern California.

Re: Question of the day

Oppose. A gubernatorial candidate's ability to raise $ is still a good, though imperfect, measure of their support within the state. Creating contribution caps, limiting intra-party contributions and the like will be more effective in curbing improper influence.

No way public financing would have stopped Blago, or a number of other like minded crooks. Politics and government is about personal gain for these people, plain and simple. Whether through a publicly recorded contribution or an envelope full of cash, they are going to get theirs.

Re: Morning shorts *** UPDATED ***

I love me some Superdawg, but would bet the farm that this will be dismissed. Unfortunately, you got only 3 days to finish it because the goodness won't stay as long... something to do with the rich ingredients that they don't have a long shelf life in the fridge. But I doubt if it will last three days... it doesn't when we buy it for the house. Deadly rich icing by the way.. to die for hehehe.

Re: http://manilarat.blogspot.com/2005/06/birdwatching-in-city.html

Young people are indeed looking for role models... but they need not look hard to find them... we can see them everywhere but they are not given enough recognition... simply because they don't need them. Just look at friends working at NGOs, Jesuit Volunteers, doctors in government hospitals, teachers like you... people who just do what they are supposed to do rather than engaging in political conflicts which is a waste of time. They may not have a huge impact to the economy but these unsung heroes are doing a lot in helping our country.

I am absolutely for that Manila Movement you are planning... basta anything I discover whether it be a food find... quaint stores... reliable fortune tellers (hehehe)... parks... I will write it down and share them and hopefully people will better appreciate Manila when they read those stories. Search the place with a fine-tooth comb. Cheers cuz!

Re: http://manilarat.blogspot.com/2005/06/birdwatching-in-city.html

Going through this site... you really tickled my interest to explore Manila more. People are so starstrucked with places overseas like Thailand, the US, Paris, Canada, Australia.. wherever... people who might have already been to the Louvre, Library of Congress, the Smithosonian or Times Square but not Rizal Park, or our National Museum, partying at Malate... or the new Ayala Museum. It may not be as spectacular but that is who we are... Filipino by blood and we should be proud of our heritage... because we cannot change that even with a stamp on our Filipino passport as immigrant to wherever country.
