MLS has become very arrogant and quite frankly I think many MLS fans emulating their English brothers have decided to check out on the national team and focus on the club game.

I guess my point is that the Galaxy are one defender away from winning the west. Gibbs could be that defender.

The Galaxy are only a few points out of first place despite the negative tone of this several other pieces on the internet. They can and still make the playoffs. Lewicke made a change to satisfy his board members at AEG but the truth is the Galaxy with the addition of Cory Gibbs could still win MLS Cup.

Until we send our U-20 kids over the South America or Europe for a year to emerse themselves in a footballing culture this will keep happening. Ever hear of no end in sight?

I like the tournament and would hate to see it die, but yesterday's show of solidarity by the Houston and NE players after the match is sure to have major ramifications going forward.

What was even more important than the quality of the match was the demonstration of the players afterwards in unity against Don Garber and SUM about bonuses. The players refused their medals!

DeGuzman decided to play for Holland because of the CSA mess. My question since he was brought up is how many more players will Canada lose like DeGuzman and Hargreaves due to the ineptitude of the CSA?

Columbus is a different market than any other market in the league and the situation is different there. You have to acknowledge job losses in Ohio coupled with a major college around the corner makes the area a challenge and MLS' LA centric ways won't counter the problems there.

The Revs are MLS only hope of winning this event. even in victory Chivas USA looked totally out classed last night.
