Or maybe 10 or 11? Anyway, I switched to iced tea at some point. But did you see the Jones flavors available last year? They ended up in the sale section of Target. Maybe you can guess why? They included cranberry, turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes and a couple of other Thanksgiving Dinner flavors.

Re: Ads vs. reality

Ugh. I saw the show intro and if we get TV I may consider watching it. Mostly because I am curious about how kids think nowadays vs. when I was a kid. Back then, we worried about different things than kids today are concerned with so I wonder how that will affect their behavior.

But after having seen the intro, I'm a little optimistic. I didn't get the impression that anyone was going to be intentionally embarrassed or put down. I get the idea, instead, that they're going for the whole "there's hope for the future generation!" angle.

Re: My complaint

Wow! I found a generous person online who had a "ministry", for lack of a better word, of making copies of this machine's manual and emailing them to people. It was a great machine, a 2.5 lb. one. I got it via Freecycle and it was hardly used. I miss it! If it's any consolation, they did get resolved and they're very helpful about it all. We've been running problem-free for a while.

Only thing is: you want to double check your to-do list now and then. Not a DirectTV problem, it's a problem with the programmers. They will now and then switch show times or run over/under and part of your show may not record. We had some random show record on Nickelodeon once when it should have been a Sponge Bob. And there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth! Not really, I just like to say that ;)

Re: I dreamed a dream

Ok...I had to comment! That made me cry ("never been kissed").

Second, while you don't feel at liberty to discuss things fully, you oughtn't give in to those "imafailure" taunts the enemy (yes, that old dog, ew!) is throwing at you. I've been keeping up with your blog. While it's possible you've manufactured this John Carney chap, I highly doubt it. You're published, have spent lots of time in missions, and are a child of God.
