If you want traffic you have to be inventive.

I remember there is a site called admoolah where visitors post their adsense earnings. I posted my site - www.fxacademy.net as earning 10K per month (A BLUE LIE!!).

My site was listed as a top earner and curious people were clicking through to my site just to find out what kind of site earns so much.
I got a huge traffic burst from this.

The pretending to sell trick works fantastically too.

Throughout the past two years Google has been on a huge exapnsion drive. Microsoft has realised this and instead of attempting to but up smaller entities it has just decided to grab the biggest fish - Yahoo.

I guess its time to show Google who is the bigger cat in this business
