I also spent this past summer working with Firstline. I have worked for several other summer sales type companies and Firstline is by far the most ethical. It is unfortunate that your son did not have a positive experience with the company but he is the exception not the norm. Firtline payed me every cent that they owed me for the work that I did. There primary concern was taking care of their employees I was only ever a phone call away from regional managers and division vice presidents. There are multiple checks that are done to ensure costomer satifaction. It wasn't a hard job,come on we knocked on doors all day, and the product was a needed service so a lot of the time it sold itself, but it is emotionally draining to face rejection everyday and the job lacked variety but am so grateful that I stuck it out. I learned perserveerance this summer and a lot more about my character, about what I'll do in life when things get hard. I am a better person because I worked with firstline and I worked withmany individuals who thought the same way.

For those benefits people endured digging thru ads. once its no longer free, agents may look for another place to go. may be lucky for you. i agree that some policing is necessary and may be license number checks are the way to go. but will you report an offender?

the bracelet was created so that people could indicate that they were fighting for a common cause... and then it became a trend... just like anything in society will tend to do... the point is that the bracelet is trendWORTHY... no matter what people do to identify themselves, once it is done a second time, it is a fad or a trend... SO WHAT? i would rather have people pay for a trend like this bracelet that supports a wonderful cause than spend more money on some fad like a beanie baby that will sit and collect dust but will have no meaning beyond its trendiness...

I would have not been confident in our ability to face the Sharks but it would have been a great series.

actually the link i gave to that line item says that exactly and as you can see from www.ok-cancel.com , i've successfully utilized it. if any of those features interest anyone, i encourage them to check the links i've provided to save some time. most of them are fairly simple to implement and aren't truly hacks.

Good point but then you can go one step further and say I lack user cases which drive the requirements which THEN drive the task list, the estimates and the prioritizations. Luckily, I'm the business owner, the developer, the project manager and the HCI guy so I communicated them, but only to myself. I just happen to document the project plan on the blog ;)

It's an extended stay for work. Trilogy/BA will cover the majority of the rent. In order to live somewhere closer to town, my roommate and I are willing to put in a little bit of our own money.

I don't know where you heard that UK pay is pretty good but you couldn't be further from the truth. UK's cost of living is higher than even NYC, the pay is maybe around Canada's and the taxes are similar, too. US is still one of the best places to work if we're talking pure dollar, especially when you work in a state with no state tax.

That's what I thought as well. I mean, if you think about tenses, it's "Logged into the system" right? So login may exist as a new NOUN but certianly not a verb. Like "what's your login?"

Anyone seen the Casio Exilim EX-Z3? 3x optical and 3MP in a similar size to the original exilim. looks like a contender.

is that the same as the finepix M603? that camera has some nifty functions but it's 2x optical and 3MP and i think even heavier than the s400 =/
