dear teacher and craig hickman, he wasn't tired. his answers were as per usual sometimes brilliant, sometimes awkward. as per the prior 35 debates. he's human. he was mad. but he has some serious martial art control of his anger. they were trying to get him to blow his top. he didn't. i sure did. i was screaming at top volume from the start. by not blowing his top he remains presidential. plus he has to be jackie robinson. he can't give them anything. look at what they did with the typical white woman and bitter quotes. i am begining to calm down now and the patently bias nature of the proceedings has become the story. the media will try to move on rather than linger on anything they uncovered because it was so ugly. obama will profit from the sense that they ambushed him. i realise i am biased but hillary's demeanor was particularly kooky and petty. she sure is a wierd gal.

i once saw this documentary about the town of corbin ky. sometime in the thirties the whites of corbin went nuts and rampaged through the black neighborhood killing, burning, looting, and evicted the whole neighborhood on a train that night. this is my memory of the documentary. it featured 1990's interviews with white residents who remembered the incident, did not deny it, and did not appear to feel any remorse. wonder if this little moment of nazi germany in america will be rehashed as ky. takes center stage tues after next.

b-serious, rachel maddow spent most of march giving equal blame to both obama and clinton for the food fight. so...i don't always get her...plus she was loathe to encourage keith o in declaring victory last tuesday. it so happens that keith o solicited the big statement from russert moments before or after rachel's cold water...so again i don't always know where she is at. popular vote fails to count colorado, minnesota, washington, iowa. obama might not have won by 30 but he would have won by 10 and that would translate to 100,000 more votes in each at least. so either she accepts her loss by delegates or she must revote those other states in a primary. garbage argument like everything else from her.

dear jack and jill, the lie about the popular vote is enraging. left out of the argument is the simple fact that several states hold caucuses. caucuses, even if they keep tack of the popular vote, and several do not, do not involve as many voters. so obama, for instance, obama won minnesota and colorado by huge percentages but not by a large popular vote. if they were primaries his percentages would have fallen but his popular vote margin would have been much higher. evita, i stand informed/ corrected as to the in between status of puerto rican citizen/voters. my point is this...puerto rico is not a state. she is going to use it to push an already flawed argument about the popular vote. now maybe there should be a movement to make puerto rico a state. but at this moment it is not. so i believe relying on large margins of support to make an electoral argument is false as it does not vote in the presidential election. but this is just one of several problems with the clinton popular vote margin. and that is my point.

i just want to say about the mccain speech against the green background...in color theory when you put a low intensity color against (human flesh) against an intense color (kelly green backdrop) the intense color should accentuate it's opposite or compliment. the green should have made mccain look redder or pinker not yellow or green. unless he was under yellow or greenish lights. so if people think he looked green, it was the lighting not the backdrop. as for the yellow teeth that is a whole other issue.
