I'm tired of facing downtime of Twitter. FF ist much more reliable, and does so much more.

What they now need is a way to send messages from a mobile phone via sms and IM-Support (Jabber).

Re: Lets Talk Copyright

So, what do you want then?
Shutting down Google reader and GMail?
Or just wanna squeeze more money out of articles?

See, i give out my content under the terms of the Creative Commons License by-sa. So, feel free to make money with my articles as long as you give me attribution. With that, I get a lot of visitors, which might give me money, on my ads.

The whole Internet is based on that kind of business model. Big companies are giving out stuff for "free". like Google does with their services, where thousands of people get paid. If you deny them to make money with ads, there is only one conclusion. They must make pay-services. So do you really want to pay for everything on the Internet.
You might have the money, but others don't. You would hut down a whole industry.

So, if you don't like how the Internet works, you should not publish content there, or make a closed access site, without RSS and with a monthly fee (like some newspaper did). Otherwise, it's like you get out, say something on the street, and then trying to get money from one who repeat it.

Hoffentlich kommt digg...

Re: First reviews

I wrote a short review in German:
Ein kleiner Review in Deutsch:

http://wiredearth.de/2008/03/zemanta-erleichter...

Re: New release: more stuff

Good and constantly progression. It's free as in freedom.
Did you ever read the policies regarding MSN ?
Keep your soul by yourself. I never had problems to chat with someone with Jabber.
If you on the dark side, andstill want to sell yur soul to Microsoft, you can use so calles transports on Jabber, to connect to any kind of IM-Network. So even MSN is no problem with iChat and Jabber.

Re: Caught in Apple restart hell

Sorry, but i never had problems with an Apple Computer.

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro 2,2GHZ, installed Leopard a few weeks ago, and made the update yesterday in 12 minutes. No problems, no glitches, everything is allright.

Before you upgrade to a new System you should ask yourself some questions:

*Is my computer too old for the update?
*Did I install ANY kind of non-Apple system expansions?
*Did I made major changes in the system setup (like changing directory structures etc.) ?
*Did I missed to read the f...... manual? (It says, for example, that it's not recommended to upgrade when you have File Vault enabled, neither Time Machine will work correctly)
Did I forget to make a backup before upgrading?

If you can answer any of this question with a "yes", well DON'T upgrade, until you solve the problem first.

BTW: I'm sure you tried that before, but you should BOOT with your Leopard-DVD by pressing C a logn time on startup, and then choose the Disk Utility from the Drop-Down-Menu. Then repair the rights (not the Volume). Try to boot your Mac.

Re: Twitter reactions to Apple’s OS update

No problems here. "

Was heißt "*hüstel*" ?
