in Massive explosion and fire in Plumpang near my home in North Jakarta / followed by flooding on Javajive Photography
The rain probably came because of the fire. My Mom's house got flooded, and she asked me if it's possible that the heat caused the intense rain, Googling suggests it is:
(From http://science.nasa.gov/newhome/headlines/essd2...)
As the heat in a city builds, hot air rises. Colder air rushes into the vacuum, creating winds. The warmer ascending air forms clouds that drop water as they continue to rise. [...]
"Convective clouds typically produce rains that are intense and localized," says Bornstein. "These types of clouds should also produce thunder and lightning."

in Gmail? Not In Germany on The Inquisitr
I've only seen the warning today... damn, somebody hack* the DNS entries, I want my gmail.com back! :(
* not illegally of course. If you run your own DNS-server you can redirect gmail.com to mail.google.com (or via a 3rd server that does an HTTP-redirect)

Scientifically accurate eh? Will it have Adam, Eve, Noah, and evidence that the earth is only 6000 years old, etc, etc?

in Propel: a non-review on revjim.net
Well, googling for "propel-gen build.xml not found" got me here, and I agree with you, Propel sucks. They probably never tried their own QuickStart guide. I couldn't even find the propel-gen script in my Propel PEAR installation.
Anyway, I gave up and checked-out the SVN version. There's build.xml there, so that looks promising...
