Can't you set up seperate feeds for seperate categories? There may not be a plugin to do it easily, but it should be doable.

Too bad they did not have this going a couple of years ago! My Grandma was wondering sometimes 10 miles (yes 10) from her home on foot, and then was lost and could not find her way home. It even got to the point she was trying to go to homes she no longer lived in or she did not even remember who she was. But we finally got her in a facility that is taking good care of her, but it was hard when we could not keep an eye on her all the time.

It is only natural for Twitter to have its growing pains. Most of these site types that grow quickly, no matter how hard they planned, have problems as they age and become used more and more.
On the personal side, I really have not gotten into Twitter. I just don't seem to understand it, why would someone care what I am up to all the time.

I am not so sure that showing how great a product is helps sell it. It is more like keeping up with the Joneses and having the coolest stuff. Whether you are talking kids and cereal or grownups and iPods it is about being cool.

I highly doubt it really brings in customers but on the other hand anything that creates a buzz about your company is a real plus. Also this is much more cost effective than ads on network television that bunches you in with all the other stores who are wanting a share of our limited funds for the Holidays.

I have noticed a influx of offers for mostly PR 2-3 with only a couple of links on the page. These are 3-way based link offers, but both sites are junky type categories. I know these lnks aren't as impressive as PR7, but I just couldn't see how these sites had that rank since they had no content, and the topics were highly competitive.

Many small business owners that I speak with who are not marketing do not know they should be. Many have the misunderstanding that if they build a website customers will magically come to it. And the others who do not believe do not understand why they have a site since it gets no traffic.

I know there is a movement in my area to encourage people to spend their economic stimulus checks at small local businesses, but I am afraid that will be just a band-aid for them. If prices do not go down soon for them, many will face either restructuring how they do business or going out of business.

I would be interested in finding out your results on this survey. There has been times when we have spent hours on a small sale and times we have spent very little time on a very large sale and vice versa in both cases. Hourly could benefit the client sometimes and the agent sometimes. Overall I guess I lean toward the current system. I like the fact everyone knows what they are getting into and out of each deal.

This is very good advice! I have used these tags on my real estate site, and some of my images have ended up on the google image search. Any extra exposure for your site and listings is a big bonus.

I feel being a freelancer has been great for me as a single mom trying to raise my daughter. It gives me the opportunity to base my life around hers, yet still make a good living to provide for her.
The case of camaraderie is the hardest part, but with a good network of friends this too can be avoided most of the time.
I do want to state that though I love it, freelancing is not for everyone, some people may just not have what it takes to be their own boss whether they want to or not.

Really I can't see how giving a little more insight into what they are looking for in a site for any given term would hurt. That way legitimate sites can focus on those key items as opposed to every rumor that might get them better ranking.

There are a couple of companies which offer pet insurance here in the states. While I love my dog and want her to have a healthy life, I do not think I would do a major surgery in order to keep her alive. At what point and time is she suffering? She cannot tell me this. Also in the US our health care is so messed up that many go without the care they need. We need to take care of these people before we worry about our four legged friends.

This is one of the most ludacris things I have ever heard. Surely they want tourists coming in and that means having hotels and other services advertised, and that includes restaurants. These businesses then bring in lots of tax revenue so what is the problem?

Apple did have a good thing going with the old ad campaign, but on the other hand you cannot use the same campaign forever, eventually you need something new.
As for the new ones, they do not appeal to me. They art is too busy, and the pics are so cluttered. The iPod is simple and elegant, so the ads for it should be as well.

Unfortunatly many blog owners will not approve anything that contains keywords and yet they want the traffic to your site. I run comment luv and do follow on several blogs and using askimet I get rid of the comments which are not even on topic. From there it does not take long to scan the comments and get rid of those that did not contribute to the conversation in a postive way.

That is pretty hostile for just trying to support a cause that you believe in. I personally do not shop for a real estate agent just becuase he or she backs a certain cause. It is a financial decision that is based on the accomplishments of the agent and how effective they would be at buying or selling a home. Not pink borders and support of a cause. That is just a sign that you have good character and care about those around you.

For the average developer PS is more program than they will ever need, and at a large expense. It is nice to know there is a decent alternative.

Amazing traffic results!! You are absolutely right about Wordpress blowing Blogger right out of the water. Even without any seo plugins my WP based blogs have done very well, the Google spiders just seem to love the code it is written in.

I am extremely self conscious! I do feel that in certain countries there is a lot less to be conscious of . In the US I feel like everyone if looking for someone to do "bizarre" things just so they can make fun of it.

I had to giggle when they news announced that Google had offered to "help Yahoo fend off this hostile takover". I had not heard the word hostile until Google spoke about the merger. It seemed to me like Yahoo was ok with the potential merger with Microsoft. From the business perspective each company has what they other needs to be successful. So on paper they look very good. It will be up to them to make it happen though.
As for Google this is some very bad timing for the competition to gang up on them. With so many people receing a smackdown on the last PR update, there are many looking for an alternative to site worth other than Google and the infamous green bar.

When I think of journalism I think of news, magazines, and reporting to the public in some form. Some blogs do this and would fit that category. While others are more personal and a place to put thoughts and maybe share things with a few friends, and so I do not feel that journalism applies to those. There blogging is not necessarily journalism.

When I first started to read your headline I was confused, but then I got to the end. Computers have come such a long way, and I still have most of my older ones so it is interesting to see how far things have come.

I was just reading in Wired that blogs are dying and everyone should just stop right now. True, they have evolved from where they started, but I do not believe they are dead or will totally go away. So the "cool people" have started doing other things, big deal, it is still a great way to make contact and get great content out there.
