I attended the event at OPEN and it was fantastic. Languis really set the right mood, and it was a pleasure seeing two musicians who so clearly enjoy making their unique music. One of the musicians smiles gleefully as he plays. The other one emits a gleaming light from his eyes from a deep performer's trance.
This musical event was unlike anything in which I'd participated before. It was like sharing a meaningful, intimate moment with a motley group of friends and strangers -- very intriguing. I bought the CD right away and have been listening to it in my car ever since. Thank you, Chris, for this amazing creation, which truly moves me and gives me hope for my own creative projects. Adrianna, thanks for the catering and your warm smile. I had a wonderful time. I am grateful that OPEN exists and continues to host these types of events.
