The passage of time does not necessarily mean that one gains knowledge or understanding, much less wisdom.  For "the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom."  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A man I knew in ministrty used to say, "I've got thrity years experience" to justify his work, to which I would respond, "No!
