How about trying to work out how you can do blogging from the point of view of an introverted spreadsheet addict who takes half a day to write (or more accurately rewrite) three coherent paragraphs.

That would make interesting reading.

NeilW

Re: Credit checks

Far better would be for government to deal with the issue. If HMRC were responsible for collecting late payment interest and debt collection fees then I suspect terms would be adhered to.

Think of it as Tax Credits for business.

NeilW

Re: The mouse and the elephant – or how mainstream media censored a reader

It's not a good idea to upset anybody on the Internet. As the Chinese say - politeness costs nothing and the future is uncertain. That's true more today than ever.

Re: Answers to taxing questions

I would get rid of the categories completely. The categories take up too much room on the screen. The main screen should just be a list of questions - just like any answers.

Much better to seed the tag list with the sort of keywords or phrases that might make good categories. That's what tags are - dynamic categories.

Re: Packaging Edge Rails as a Gem?

Do you know about the beta gem server?

Using

gem update --so http://gems.rubyonrails.org

you get pretty close to the edge - probably as close as you'd want to be.

Rgs

NeilW
