Graham's chief concern is library funding. He said he would support Mayor Anthony Williams' plan after the mayor promised him some extra money for libraries. Whether he could be swayed at this point is hard to say. (I cover this stuff for my newspaper.)
I enjoyed your talk at the AFF forum on the election a week or so ago. You added some much needed cerebral libertarian levity to what was an otherwise deadly serious GOP-dominated panel. That said, I differ with you on who should win: Bush has done a lot of bad things domestically but he's a better leader and he's stronger on all-important national security issues than Kerry. That said, I just watched "Stolen Honor" online and I can understand why the Democrats are so terrified of it. If enough Americans see it, Kerry's campaign for the presidency is over. I had worried that it would be a transparent hatchet job on Kerry: it's not...it's a real documentary and it's damning.
