I do not believe this was a free election nor could you prove that the protestors would be any different.
As far as Standards, certainly we should set some standards. If we are going to help a person like Pol Pot, Hitler or Hussein get in because it is a free election, then we should set standards.
I think that response that Obama has given is pathetic.
If there is a Full Blown Revolution then by all means let’s direct it or massage it in our favor. However, lets not spread ourselves to thin. Lets finish where we are and then move to this. The beat for "I Wanna Thankya" and "Nasty Girl" were taken straight out of a construction kit CD! Jazzy Pha didn't even change one bit of it.. anyway.. if you know about construction kits... it's track 4 of the Big Fish Audio Neo Soul Volume 2 CD.

So disappointed! To me those construction kits are only for ideas but you don't jack the EXACT BASSLINE, congas, drumbeat EVERYTHING. pfft!!!

Why would you put this to a vote? Thats a terrible idea. A shitty activist could win just by knowing more people willing to vote.

Basically, if someone thinks they should win this, they shouldn't win this. There's WAY too many head waggers in CRs who think they matter way more than they do. Just because you can quote Reagan verbatim and can give a good speech doesn't mean you're a good activist. CR of the year should be someone who's laid it on the line for the cause. Nothing is more frustrating to me than seeing CRs go around bragging about the most minor of accomplishments as if people should be lining up just to stand in their presence. If you think you're important, you're probably not, if you think people should be openly grateful to work with you, they probably shouldn't be, and if you have the audacity and arrogance to nominate yourself for CR activist of year you probably haven't even come close to earning the title.
