Just to amend my previous comment-- I did get editions of Gary's daily newsletter on the 18th and today, and the weekly one today.

The daily is pretty nice, I was skeptical initially.

Also-- has anyone actually gotten either of the newsletters? I signed up for both daily and weekly, and haven't seen anything.

Do people think that comments are the primary value of Friendfeed? The headline is sensationalist.

A bunch of papers put that on the front page today...

If it threatens our continued existence, we might not have much choice.

That, or take steps to ensure the future of the species isn't tied up in the survivability of Earth.

The man-made-or-not argument is a red herring, used by both sides.

If the trends are real we need to understand what sort of adaptations might be needed, and figure out if there are actions we can take to stabilize the climate.
