in What do the freaking tech bloggers want? on Scobleizer
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm honestly tired of over inflated egos that many of the tech "a listers" have.
An example... having 483,300 followers and using them to get an answer to a question. I suppose this is called crowdsourcing... but, what's in it for us? Usually nothing.
I think most of us appreciate all the hard work the "a listers" do but maybe it would be nice to see less self absorption, more fun and carefree like attitudes. I dunno... this is just off the top of my head. At 3:17 a.m.

I'm going to take a guess that checking email in the bathroom will be #1. Could open up a whole new market for the bathroom reader series...

that is why I want a Kindle :-) For now, I use my Blackberry to catch up on all non-tech related news during that time.

in TEN Reasons Digg Not Getting Acquired…Nope, Just One! on Howard Lindzon
I'm so happy to see this story as I've seen so many pro-digg stories out there it looks suspicious. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they plan or hope to give arrington a commission if he can help sell it.
There are many problems with this Digg/Google thing. The first thing is Google doesn't need them. Why not just build your own stuff? And... do you really won't to screw up a good thing? Some complain that Google is going to ruin Digg, but I think they've got it backwards.... Digg will ruin Google.
Unless you have a mob of friends to digg your stuff, know someone that works at Digg, you'll never see your story on the Digg homepage. If you DO write something brilliant, it will get rewritten by a more popular blogger and THEY will get on the homepage.
Digg is insulting it's users by hoarding all of their money and not giving a penny to its users. Hmm... somehow Kevin reminds me of Ramesses II. I'm sure he's going to enjoy that Tesla. I'm sure the Digg users that gave you free content would like to have a share of your ad revenue. Wouldn't it be more fair to give the users a cut instead of getting drunk on a video podcast and trying to act cool all the time?
Kevin and all the digg employees have put in a ton of hard work, that is true... but the corruption behind the scenes, left wing political propaganda, and not sharing ad revenue with digg users has turned me off.
Someone out there needs to make a digg clone and give 50% ad revenue sharing. Just my 2 cents.

in Is Home Depot Scamming People With Fake Comments? on Instigator Blog
Awesome find, dude! I would say it is either home depot or the manufacturer doing this... a customer isn't going to be that concerned about emphasizing they got it at "home depot" over and over...
