good post. Byt people can do everything you say and research product design, consumer behaviour as much as they want but at the end of the day some products work due to being launched at the right moment... whats hot within society for an example.
sbspalding And that's a great point. Unfortunately, the one thing we can't control is "the right moment." We can try to mitigate things so that we can predict when we should launch, but one of the unspoken rules of product design is that you better be lucky.
