in How to get creatures into and out of the Creature Creator Trial on Spore Daily
I have the same problem. I tried what you suggested, and it worked, but only for one creature. It stopped working after wards. Do you know WHY it happens?

Mythor I don't know what causes it, I suspect it's a bug in the Trial.
Did you try closing the Creature Creator and trying again?
Other than that, I don't know what to suggest, sorry. :(
