You are so on point. I just don't understand the logic of some folks though. With the floods we're dealing with now, the destruction from the fires in California and contiuing recovery from Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma; I wonder what's next and how our government will respond.

Karoli, I understand your logic about the result of not voting if Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee. I hear you on the Independent Party. I really do get the logic but my heart is not there yet.

I'm praying that she will be a non-issue soon and I won't have to think about voting or not voting for her. I don't believe anything she says so who's to say there will be real difference between her and McCain?

I'd become so tired of hearing about Britney's issues that I didn't know this was going on. This is so tragic. I don't understand any of the people around her. I feel so sorry for Britney and her children. I wonder who's looking out for her finances. Based on the actions of her parents and inner circle of friends, Britney needs to have the court intervene on her behalf. She needs care and she needs it from people that love her and don't see her as a money train.

I live in Miami where it seems that murder of young black men by the police or another young black man appears to have reached epidemic status. It is so very sad because many of these young men don't realize that they have options. Even in the most dire circumstances, they have options. They also don't realize the magnificent potential they actually carry with them.

I was not a Mary J fan when she started. I came to respect and admire her talent as I watched her grow musically and mature as a woman. She is a raw talent that has been groomed into a fabulous diamond. I am so proud of her and happy for her accomplishments.

From reports here, it seems that the situation is getting better for you guys. I am curious as to the domino effect of this disaster.

Wow, I didn't know this was an issue. I view FaceBook as MySpace for college kids so I was never interested in joining. Unfortunately, these are the children raised by our children and/or us.

Those ‘young’ people that spew such hatred didn’t just wake up a few days ago like that; they have been little trolls all their lives. An ‘old’ person/parent should have provided better guidance earlier in the child’s life.

Perhaps, as parents/guardians of these ‘young’ people, we didn’t think the hateful comments about a particular ethnicity or religion or sexual preference would spill over to ageism, but it did.

The few spewing hatred should not cloud our judgement of ‘young’ people as a whole.
