Where is the revenue stream? traffic is pointless if you can't make money or a significant social contribution which neither of these sites do in my opinion. Here's what I ask entrepreneurs about the business ideas. "Tell me in one sentence how you make money." If it involves selling the company, I never invest.

Cheers

Steve

Re: I will do one thing today

Before I answer the question: lOne thing we all do is have a list of items to do, which will never happen on any given day. There is nothing more de-motivating than only seeing 10% or 20% of our daily tasks finished. Best practice is to have max 1-3 items.... then have a list or "promotable projects".

Today - I will organise my files & plan my new office. I reckon I have a heap of producivity ahead once that's done.

Re: I will do one thing today

Actually - that's two things... And great entrepreneurs leverage changes in community sentiment.

Steve.

Re: Business Book Summary #5: “Here Comes Everybody” by Clay Shirky

Steve,

Firstly thanks for the heads up on twitter. And thank you for providing such a great resource in summerizing books via video - well produced and succinct. I have been listening to this while working, love your idea and will be passing it on to me friends for certain. I'll also blog about you on www.startupblog.wordpress.com - For someone who is addicted to reading, it'll help me choose my books, and keep me up to date until I get to rad them all.

Cheers,
Steve Sammartino
twitter: @sammartino
