Kevlar gloves have been around about as long as bullet proof vests have. They use them for glass handling, some people have pointed out that they wouldn't be effective. While, yes, they may be punctured easily, they're very resistent to slashing. (I know people who work in glass factories.)

Hey don't get mad at me but Clemson is an average football team and has been for years. The great Frank Howard had a winning percentage of 58% and had 14 (of 29) non-winning seasons. Clemson dominated the ACC in the 80's but other than the Ford years they were average. Those are the facts. The only thing that has kept Bowden's job is 7-2 record against the boys from Columbia. Clemson is not and has never been like UNC in basketball where championships are expected every year.
