I disagree I just got my Reg score and got an 82. One of the SIMS was a complete guess for me (maybe they didn't grade that one). I was unsure on a lot of MC but in most instances was able to narrow it down to 2 answers each time. I walked out walked out feeling I had a chance to pass but if I did it was going to be a mid 70 and this was the highest score I obtained on all 4 parts that I passed.

Sorry but I just can’t buy the people who claim they walked out of the test “failing” yet get an 85 or better on this exam. Just.Not.Buying.It.Ever. If you get above even an 80 you KNOW you did well leaving that test. All reading these boards have given me is FALSE HOPE!!!

That corner was a thing of beauty. Nobody gave up, and Mexico paid the price for not being able to get anyone on it.

Oh, I'm sure. It would be a lot harder to get over it though if a guy cheap shotted you like that. I get that tempers run high, but that was uncalled for.

in More Productive Window Management in GIMP on Tombuntu
Thanks to pjjanak for mentioning the Group feature in Compiz. Had no idea that was there. Using now. Works great.
Really was not keen on the way Gimp require me to activate a minimum of three windows every time I switch over to it from another app's window.

It took me a bit to find it, but I was curious myself. Both players were released from their respective hospitals and seem to be doing okay.

Now this is bloody interesting! A stable feature, perhaps like Jupiter's Red Spot, yet with a fixed shape. Fascinating.

in Our Endorsement for the Presidency of the United States of America: We’ll Let You The American People Decide! on Political Intersection
I do not believe that Senator McCain is "safe." What is he? He is an old man who has suffered multiple bouts with one of the deadliest forms of skin cancer. He selected a running mate who is not prepared to be president, vice-president nor governor of a state with a population greater than that of Alaska (600,000?). The aforementioned factors coupled with Mr. McCain's uneven (read: erratic) temperament make him one of the most dangerous nominees to come along in quite some time.
This a critical time in our nation's history. It is important that our leader be a critical, cerebral thinker.

in Is the GOP Race Baiting or Is it Something Else? on Political Intersection
Hi Sophia:
As you already know, I, too, enjoy your commentary. However, you did not answer Missouri's question. Why are you (still) a member of the republican party? I have asked you this question before and you mentioned your concerns about military and economic issues. Could you be more specific. Additionally, are there other issues/platform positions that keep you in the republican camp? I haven't any doubts about your deep concern for the African American community. I have seen little or no concern expressed by the republican party honchos for the African Amercan community in general or African American voter(s) outreach specifically. I look forward to reading your detailed response. Thanks.

Hey JC-
If I might make a blog suggestion- right now you've only got one blog post at a time appearing on your main page. Not everyone will check your blog every day, so they might end up missing posts, and they won't always click the Older Posts button.
Great blog, by the way!

Thanks to hear you are an alum of WCL, Mrs. Nelson, and have a wikipedia article on yourself. As another conservative AU-WCL student, it is refreshing to see other alums out there who are not only interested in politics but who are right or moderate (at least not super left!). Congrats to you and I will continue to read your blog.

in Upgrading VirtualBox and Virtualizing the Ubuntu 8.10 Alphas on Tombuntu
Actually, you can run the 8.10 with current kernel in Vbox without VT-x/AMD-v, you just can't install it. Installing to e.g. a vmdk in qemu produces a VM that boots and runs fine in VBox without VT-x/AMD-v.

Slow trade day so far, but still a few hours to go. I'm looking for a couple of big trades to fall still. I'll miss the Caray impersonations though, that was awesome. <a href="http://www.BravesBlast.com rel=" nofollow="nofollow">BravesBlast.com

I'll be very sad to see him go. I'm with you on thinking with the heart instead of the pocketbook, but I can't say I really blame the guy. People that think with the heart don't have Scott Boras as their agent, that's pretty much plain and simple. We'll see what happens, but it's a sad sad time.
