Apple always previews there newest OS X releases and had a beta program for the original OS X a while back. Even this year's WWDC will preview Leopard, the WWDC is in early august and the release of OSX 10.6 won't be till the end of the year or early next. So that statement isn't entirely true.

I really don't think M$ would make it as blatant as creating a directory named PANTHER even if they did copy so I don't think the image warrants any truth to the matter but I do think a lot of the stuff that I've seen in OS X for the last 2-3 years is showing up in Vista.

And it's really nothing new to me because of that. I think the one real inovation that Vista had going for it was the virtual folders/storage (not sure what it was called) but they canned it. I heard because they thought people would be confused.

It's hard to be M$ they have a lot of legacy that they need too make work but they should look at Apple right now with their transition to Intel. They know that the transition will be the best in the future and they are not worried about transition, they market rosseta as the answer to the problems and they go. If M$ can't get over their past, cut some limbs and really inovate they will be just the same. A OS company that I prefer not to like nor want to use.

I would make sure you pasted the code correctly. Maybe even check it against the deafualt theme of Wordpress to see if it is a server issue or something you put before the includes.

You can't image it because you haven't read the reports of the shortage. Like I said Bestbuy a MAJOR retailer will only get 86. Gamestop has over 80 preorders alone and they will only get about 30-40. So the demand is there. And the PS2 was the same way, you couldn't get one until way later.

Now that is something I don't get; at least I get to take something home. You get to say I was at the premiere, I get to say I was at the premiere and that is why I have this machine now and you have to wait till February.

BestBuy is getting 86 consoles and I think about 50 are of the bundle pack.

Like I said before the last major console release was huge. The PS2 sold out way before the doors opened because of pre-buys and people waiting outside like me.

Remember the story of sleeping outside of Target in the rain for my PS2?

The PSP was the only other release which was big but the hype and the rumors of limited supply didn't reach the masses like I assume it has done for the 360. Pre buys for the 360 have reached almost a hundred at every gamestop and ebgames in town and they will only get 20-30 a store,meaning the others will be waiting. Waiting next to me or Jason.:D

I've worked out a deal for Jason M to save me a spot, he might as well do something with his broken arm.
