Thanks for the post on this! Had a right winger slam me on my blog for posting the Obama video about McCain "Still" and he used the POW injuries meme.

First I'd heard of it.

And yet ...McCain can still eat with a fork and do alot of other things including use a phone.

He needs to get with Steven Hawkings to learn a thing or two about living in the tech age!

Wow! I admire your writing talent. Had no idea that The Editor was haunting you!

I know The Editor too. It's funny how she creeps in and takes over. Years ago, I wrote poetry and fictional stories. Then I became a grant writer and worked in city and county planning. My writing talent was spent on dry, explanatory technical pieces.

I let The Editor cut my creative tongue out.

I totally agree with you about this!
That's why we go to to Thai Lotus Restaurant in south Reno instead of PF Cheng's. Both serve gluten free food but I want the little business to stay open!
I'm stuck with Starbucks because they are the only coffee shop within 5 miles of me that has an indoor area with wifi. :-(
But when I am in downtown Reno, I go to Java Jungle!

I'm not going to be limping to the poll, I'm going to be marching and running to the poll to vote for Obama and not just for the economy!

BTW, I believe we've been in a recession for months. I've been watching this housing/loan/derivative debacle closely for almost 3 years now. Things are playing out exactly the way it would have with the way the greedy big people set the house of cards up.

I've never been part of a school integration system like this. My dad was in the US Army so I was always surrounded by lots of diversity.
