I think it just shows that you're not being petty about it, but addressing a serious PR problem that needs to be addressed. Harvesting your email off of a request is just so bogus. But the name calling was just beyond uncool.

I learned a long time ago to treat everyone like royality because you never know what "lesser" person you're talking to can really screw up your day. Therefore calm, tactful and professional is always the way to go.

I've had these conversations with bloggers and happily took them off the databases I've created. But at least I made sure they actually blogged about stuff first.

Re: Could You Help Me With a Project

Tabitha Smith here and I loved the poem! :D

Re: exposing the secrets behind how to get a story on the reddit front page

I officially love you even more than I already did. I prefer looking up to people who are smart, intelligent, witty, but don't have the attitude that they're too good for me. Only people who are too good for me are people who risk their own safety to keep people safe. Or people who give their lives to help those less fortunate than themselves.

Re: Thanks! I see so many people fall on their face when they're at a Tech meetup/group event because they don't know HOW to talk to people. I'd also add "don't hog time." You're more likely to be remembered if you don't hang on someone. Better to do a few bursts of conversation throughout an event (bringing people for them to meet is a great way to do that) than stand there like an idiot the whole time. :D

Re: Twitter reactions to Apple’s OS update

I had no problems - except for GarageBand.
