in The Simplest Way To Get Accepted As A friend On Facebook on SU Comments
Hi Teeg, Wishing you had a lovely Christmas and all the best for 2009!
Friendship's are built on trust and even though we sometimes fade in and out of each others lives, the foundation is what matters most.
Thanks for being there and being you.
Big HUGS from Australia :)

in StomperNet — The Net Effect Brilliance on Social Traffic Community
Thanks for the tip on how you canceled your STSE2 subscription. I lost the original email so after doing a search for Stopmernet cancel net effect, I found the site, logged in and canceled due to the exchange rate of USD/AUD being very poor.

I believe I have so much info in just the first issue which some of the content has already been put to use. Well worth it!

in The 7C’s of Personal Branding Success on The Friday Traffic Report
Love the article Liz! Personal Branding is ongoing and so your 7 C's are a perfect as a checklist. I find having the courage to show flaws and all is important. I don't profess to know everything and asking for feedback is helpful in this case. Writing about my failures as well as successes is vital to showing readers that I am real and that it's okay to have failures... that's how I learn and move on which I hope then encourages others to do so as well.

Commitment is a biggie too. If I fall out of integrity, which can happen with a couple of young children around the place, I do make a point of setting things right and getting on with it. As long as there is communication between the parties involved it can be rectified. Maybe communication could be #8!

Thanks Jack for this guest post. I was directed here to another article of yours and have now subscribed to keep up with your tips for traffic.

in Today’s Question by Aart Hilal on Paulo Coelho's Blog
There are many things in which I believe. Dreams of course is one because without dreams, how would we go on? On a daily basis, we should be taking action towards our dreams so that they become a reality... otherwise, what's the point? I also believe we choose our destiny. We drive our own bus which takes us there so if we happen to take the "wrong" road, we only have ourselves to blame. It's up to each individual to get to their desired destiny. No-one else can take us there.

in Anonymity - Do the pros outweigh the cons? on SU Comments
I have heard of those sites from Allan before but never checked them to see if I am listed. I think it would be frightening to have your identity stolen online. I have come across one profile that someone else set up as my name and picture and wasn't happy and yet, I was not able to contact anyone to get rid of it.

Being an online marketer, In my opinion, it is essential to be "seen" rather than have an avatar and people will quickly recognize you from your picture and make the connections. Being wary that this (identity stealing) can happen I believe is important and at the same time, not to get too paranoid about it... protecting yourself should be automatic. Great post Teeg!

in Heartbreak Hotel: How to Turn Rejection Into Triumph on LifeDev
Rejection can cause us to become victims in our own story and unless we move on, it can really run our lives. Thanks for your list. I found it very comforting to know there are some other things I can try that I wasn't already aware of. Great post!

in You Gotta Have Friends on SU Comments
Hey Teeg!! It's great to see you back here with a post... and thanks for the plug! I was glad to help and I have missed our chats and interaction online.

I regard offline and online friends the same way too. Some you have more to do with than others, however, all are regarded as friends. Social networking has brought me into contact with more people than I ever imagined and it is great to get to know them too through the various communities.

I heard today that Camilla and Sarah are back at Taggz with a whole new look so I guess that chat will be up and running again very soon.

Sending love and peace your way for a full recovery very, very soon and I'm looking forward to you posting again :)

in Exclusive: Activity SocialStream Goes Portable With Blogcatalog on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
Hi Andy, I just finished some housekeeping and catching up in BlogCatalog and I must say that I like the new activity feed. I am yet to install it on my site and I think it will make a great addition. I have tried other widgets in the past which didn't have the desired effect so I look forward to road testing this one.

in Scaling Yourself on Chris Brogan
Whoa!! So it's not only me. I thought I was going mad trying to juggle all my projects as well as family life! The last couple of months for me have thrown me right out of whack due to school holidays and having the kids home, and now that the school routine is into it's second week here is Australia, I still find myself procrastinating and doing bits and pieces here and there.

I am in the process of drawing up a poster board with my goals and writing in the steps it will take to achieve them. I am using a poster board so that it will be a visual reminder of where I want to be by the end of the year.

I have also set up my google calendar for the first time and learning how to integrate it into my day and blocking out times for certain tasks.

Learning to say "no" so that I don't let others down is another biggie for me. I tend to be a people pleaser and like you Chris, I do not watch TV, I limit my socialising if it's not a family affair, and only use my skype chat to tap into my tech guy if there are any issues.

Twitter is a great resource and that's how I found this article via Problogger... I had been out most of the day with my little one and have come online a short while ago.

Thanks for the tips!

Cool article Teeg! I think it is rude and unfair also to be snubbed by Google. I remember the day you saw that PR and we chatted about it... if only you got a snapshot of it... I can understand why you would get excited... PR4 sounds good to me.

It will be interesting to see mberry's results.

in I Need Your Blogs! on SU Comments
Buzzing with Ange is where I write articles about personal development and emotional intelligence. I get inspired through books I read, seminars I attend, and the study that I do. When I first came across Jamie McIntyre, I learned to see life through a different perspective and found that you don't have to be stuck in a 9 - 5 job and just survive. There is another way to create wealth and live the life you love.

in “Paper” Trading is Pointless on Investing Adventures
Hey Jorge, if I may, I think that paper trading is a safe way to learn how the market works to some extent, especially if you don't have a "real account" to be able to blow up!! Fair enough if you do have a lazy few thousand dollars that you won't miss, but even with paper trading, I followed on with small trades and built up from there.

in New Online Service: Introducing Jango on SU Comments
Hey Teeg, I forget about using my Jango :S While I do enjoy music, I also enjoy peace and quiet... it gets so noisy around here when the kids are home that when they are at school or sleeping, I much prefer to work in silence... it's bliss. And then there are times when I like to listen to my educational mp3's like Anthony Robbins or Dr John Demartini. At the moment, I am also doing some NLP study and there's mp3's included with this.

The times that I have used Jango, I agree that there are a great number of artist's available and it's easy to select the ones you like and have them played again.

in What type of Social Network user are you? on SU Comments
Well Teeg... I use many social network sites, and the ones I spend the most time on are SU, which is pretty addictive, Facebook is great to get to know other online friends, BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog are great for community building and learning from others blogs, and bookmarking sites are varied.

I have my favorites installed in my tool-bar for easy access like, Del.icio.us, Faves, Clipmarks, (note: when I use either Clipmarks or Faves, it automatically saves to Del.icio.us as well), the Sharethis button, so it makes for easy and quick access.

I found an interesting article by Caroline Middlebrook which discusses quick methods of bookmarking. You can find it here http://tinyurl.com/38xc77 with how to set up some shortcut keys too.

It does keep me very occupied to say the least :)
