As I mentioned above in one of my responses, they don't show all the upcoming functionality....just a sneak peek. We will have to wait until SolidWorks 2010 Beta in a few months to find out if there are any new surfacing tools.

Just out of curiosity...what type of Surfacing tools would you like to see added to SolidWorks?

Hi David,

The problem is that when we only use the SpaceNavigator PE, we have to type on our laptop or pc keyboard to input an exact dimension.

Because look like it work only for rotate, zoom and pan.

So we have to buy the space navigator or spacepilot.

Hi Ricky,

Previously ( in the sw beta ), "add dimension" also work for rectangular, circle....Today when I try in PR1, I cant find the add demension.

How about you...?

Go to Tools->Options->System Options->Sketch
Make sure that the option for "Enable onscreen numeric input on entity creation" is checked.

After enabling this and enabling the "Add dimension" option in the PropertyManager for circles & rectangles, you should see your dimensions appear automatically.

I think what Muggs said about solidworks tutorial is correct. I try to find solidworks video tutorial and just found a bit video turorial. I know there are some place on the web that provide solidworks tutorial, but only print version not video. As we know we can buy from solidprofessor or igetit to get video tutorial. BTW, now I am trying to introduce solidworks to newbie users in Indonesia. I create free blog, post some info about solidworks and I will post FREE SOLIDWORKS VIDEO TUTORIAL but in Indonesian language. Today I have posted the first episode --> Introduction to SOlidWorks. There will be next episode of course. I hope solidworks expert like Muggs, Josh, Matt, Rob, Devon etc. will always share great tips on their blog so I can grow up my knowledge then share them....
