in On a personal note… on The Savvy Entrepreneur
I've so been here. When we had our first foster kids, they were ages 2 & 3 and I ended having to put them in preschool a couple of hours each morning. I just could not get anything done or think straight. Me, former Daycare teacher of awesomeness. And right now I'm running a family daycare with 3 kids, on the verge of adopting 2 kids and I wonder, can I do this plus all the things I want to do? Its not bad to let some things go for a while, or go more slowly than you had planned. And its not even bad to let your kids be watched by someone else from time to time. Actually I found, it was good for them to have perspectives from other people- and I found I was a much better mommy when I had time to get our lives in order. Wish you the best.

in How to Master the Master on Her Owner
It is difficult for outsiders to see the difference between abusive situations and play between consenting adults. I used to work with domestic violence victims & there definitely are a few people out there who are truly violent abusers who try to cover by calling it BDSM.
However, I was pleased to find out about places like alt.com recently. I think that networking and participating within a community of like-minded individuals can help protect people from the real predators.

I loved this about open & connected communities. We are an itty bitty startup in Edmonton & just have begun making connections within Alberta.
We are learning that shared experience benefits everyone, whether it ranges from the simple emotional support of exchanging tips on common problems to all-out business partnerships. And we are hoping that down the road when we are ready for the next step in growing & going for financing, we'll have lots of mentors willing to give us advice.
Excellent blog!

in Over-clocking your friendships on everwas
What really irks me is all the friend invites to applications on Facebook. No, I am not going to install the "What is your stripper name? Quiz!"
I like the deviantart.com model of subscribers and favourites.

I wonder if they would consider making a webcast or video of their seminars.

in Fashion Mash Launches Clunky Outfit-Sharing Site on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
We appreciate your honest review and feedback! This is exactly why we are in beta!
I do want to point out for folks that there is a mini-tutorial to help you get started at http://fashionmash.com/help/tutorial/getting-st...
There is no trace by color feature. (Although, after hearing it, we think that's a great idea for the future!) The color options are just so you can see the tracing line against different fabrics.
Thanks for bringing this to Mashable readers!

Hi Margaret - It's good to see a development team that's so open to what the online community is saying. Responding to what users and potential users want is the quickest way to success for any site. Good luck!

All the hype about skype.
I think I've seen hundreds of blogs, articles & posts on this in the past couple of days.
Negative PR is still PR.
