Not true. Martin Sheen was the POTUS on the West Wing for several years. And did not Jimmy Smit suceed him or at least attempt to suceed him?

hmmm. the best read? maybe. I would try, too, looking at blogs who follow immigration issues extensively and for a long time such as:

and you can always follow http://promigrant.org/ where both these posts also appear, as do many other on the topic of immigration.
there are others, but my main point is that while TPM gives one point of view, it may be interesting to look toward other blogs on this issue, just as i would suggest looking at TPM to others, when it comes to say, the DOJ scandal.

I agree. The ignorance and hatred that has afflicted this country since its inception will never be fully eradicated until it is exposed. The more it is exposed, the more we are forced to deal with it and discuss it. Maybe then we can all get past this culture that has held back the USA from its full potential.
