I'm not a big makeup girl, but "Kiss Me Mascara" can't be beat. The mascara doesn't just coat lashes, it creates a little tube around them. When you wash it off, the 'tubes' come away effortlessly, leaving no smudges, clumps or dark circles. It's pricey at $25, but worth it. I got one at Kriss Cosmetics on Second Street in Manchester.

I will post an updated brief to this story. I stand corrected on the address.

I remember Zayre. I also remember "Rich's," which I recall was a similar type of department store. At Rich's, you had to pay a dime to use the bathroom. I'm fairly certain that when I was a kid, I wet myself while trying to shove the damn dime in the freaking machine that opened the door.

I hated Rich's.

It went out of business.

Anyway, my real point is that I love your blog. Keep up the good work.

I agree: David Archuletta seems to be on the fast track to stardom. The problem is the finish line is still out of reach. I fear he's peaking much too early. Where to go from here, if the judges and all of America have declared his performances "the best ever?" I doubt he can continue to top himself for the next, what, 14 weeks? Mind you, he's good and I hope he goes as far as his talent will carry him. I just think a reality check is probably not far away.
