in We all know who he is on Inside the Hall
Big A, your ideal is 25 point win and 40 for EJ? You're way to much of a pessimist. How about at 30 pt. win and 57 for EJ (breaking the IU record of 56).

TerryIU, when he's on a roll, don't correct him!
I think Crawford's fatigue was becasue he played 38 minutes. He played more than usual becasue Bassett was out and Ellis & EJ got into foul trouble.

Kelin, VanTreese has certainly gone down in his ranking. Last year he had some illness problems and didn't seem to live up to his rep. He had a great game in the Circle City Classic recently. He has also been offered by some pretty solid programs including UCLA,Ohio State,Louisville, and Kentucky. I think IU continues to recruit him because of his potential and some flashes of the potential he has shown in HS and AAU. He's also a big from Indiana which helps.

Craig, although ESPN was reporting an indefinite suspension, Coach Sampson said 3 games. But I think White not redshirting was only partially due to the suspension. We did need another body with the suspension but AJ is coming back in 3 games and he is in the backcourt like Crawford. I think Coach Sampson has just had enough of our lack of interior defense and problems blocking out and rebounding. These are things that you know Mike White will give us. Yes, he will miss bunnies and have problems guarding taller and physical bigs but he can give us those two things which we don't apparently have at this time with Eli and Thomas.

in Indiana state rep proposes arbitration for BTN on Inside the Hall
MIKEYD, I remember the good old days when I could actually turn my TV set on! Now there are so many gadgets, buttons, etc. that it's difficult to figure that out, but now that I've figured it out I can't get most IU games. Oh for the good old days.

Right on Big A! But I'm glad the pundits are taking shots at our team and not picking us to win because it gives them something to shoot at and boy will it be sweet when we win. Clearly MSU & OSU have been exposed, they have a long way to go. But the season is early and the season has yet to even officially start.

in Will Kevin Jones join IU’s 2008 class? on Inside the Hall
Ray, I believe that KJ was linked with his AAU teammate Mookie Jones who I believe committed to Syracuse. Syracuse not in the mix for KJ. But I think if KJ signs with IU that will be a very slight plus with Stephenson. Senderoff was our NY link, and as he is gone having 2 NY guys committ after Senderoff's resignation may give him more confidence with IU. In my opinion how we do this year is important. It looks like IU will be playing a style of play conducive to his game, and if we make final 4 or 8 and EJ & EJ go high in the draft, we will be in great shape with him.

kelin, Brand will have little or nothing to do with the review of the recruiting violations by the NCAA. It is done by a special committee, and he is not on it. I do not know whether he has to ratify the finding or not, but his power is probably very little in these matters.

in Spartans picked to win Big Ten by media on Inside the Hall
I'm going with DJ, EJ, Raymar Morgan, Drew Neitzel, and Shaun Pruitt for all big 10. DJ will be POY. Take a look at the Pan-Am games. DJ was the man for that team as he led in scoring and rebounds by a wide margin. He also led in shooting % and even steals. Neitzel did not show much in these games. I agree any all Big 10 team that leaves EJ off is -- well just off. I'm also going with IU for the title.
Purdue has a good young team, and I expect them to come on strong about half way through the Big 10 season. But they will struggle early especially after losing their top two players. As far as Purdue becoming a dynasty -- well it could happen -- but you need more than one great recruiting class to make such an assertion credible.

in More on Pritchard commitment and Tuesday links on Inside the Hall
Rod graduated from a Florida High School. He was only a 3 star recruit according to Scout. I don't know what his Rivals rank was, but I doubt that he was a 5 star.
