Which is what you asked me. Patronizing isn't it?

Re: American Decency: Not Too Big to Fail

Did YOU base your comments on the past Labor Day posts you read on the blog? Or did you read them AFTER you commented.

Re: American Decency: Not Too Big to Fail

You do understand that some people in Texas do read and study the news outside the state, right? Especially when it comes to litigation. That's what lawyers do. Especially one with a background in labor law.

And I base someone's comments on the rationale of their argument. But spams and trolls, yes, I then determine who I am talking to, so I can weigh his or her credibility or bias. Because people who hide behind sock puppets lack the courage to carry on a fair and honest discussion.

Re: American Decency: Not Too Big to Fail

I took no polls at Youngstown State, San Diego State or San Francisco State, either.

Again, let me try to make this as simple as possible. Perhaps you can stop changing the subject and making up your own conversation and READ the post. Because what you are citing is of no consequence given it is not germane to the actual content. Reading: It's fundamental, you know.

And why must you hide behind that troll account? Afraid to lose wine customers at the grocery store?

Re: American Decency: Not Too Big to Fail

Perhaps you could thoughtfully read the post before hitting send on a knee jerk reaction? Spelling out words is a plus. Did I say jerks? No, I said voting for a man who brags about sexual assault, incites violence and lies with wild abandon, gives one the idea that the voter condones, specifically, sexual assault.

By the way, it's the "Democratic" party. Just like it's not the Republic party, it's not the Democrat party. And I sincerely doubt half our readers equal the voting base of the GOP President elect. I would even venture to say some of ours are among the 46‰ of registered voters who sat home.

Re: American Decency: Not Too Big to Fail

Your name sounds familiar. Bank/Wall Street Bailout was authorized and enacted October 3, 2008. Obama was elected in November 2008 and did not take office until January 20, 2009, at which time he added back the "off the books" Iraq War debt, that gave us that "$17 trillion deficit" Please actually read the historical record before spouting Brietbart BS.

Re: Freixenet: It is All about Family

I think it's always a tough sell for the next generation no matter what the parents do. In my family it was generations of educators -- and I thought the last thing I wanted to be was a "teacher." But I have found another way to keep the family tradition going by educating people about wine. Not quite the same as History or High School -- but still involves the sort of passion of sharing knowledge! Thanks for reading.

Re: Star Wars Last Bottle Wine Marathon Sale – Starting Thursday, Dec 17

My pleasure -- I adore The Last Bottle!

Re: Wines for Thanksgiving Day and Throughout the Year

I know you love your Chardonnay, Claudia! Only a few blogs have the actual URL showing, and the column with twitter handles is now missing. It would be great if you could provide the links to everyone's blogs and twitter handles, like you have done in all the previous lists, so we can follow each other before we get to the conference. Thanks!

Re: A Fatherless Father’s Day

Thanks Craig. There are still times, though not as often as before, that I will see something, hear some song, experience some thing, and for a moment forget. I'll say to myself, "I have to tell Dad about this..." Then, I remember. But other times, when things are not going so well, I will hear my Dad's voice in my head, "Sissy, it ain't no big thing." Then I will laugh, because the "Big Thing" that was upsetting me isn't so big at all.

Re: 10 Things to do in Barcelona, Spain

Great! Ask at restaurants, too. Often distributors are too afraid of wines from regions that they believe their consumers are not aware of. The more consumers who ask about a wine, the more likely the restaurant or retail store will be likely to try to find it and get it in stock!
