My posts are intended to be slaps in the face. Those who are moderate are not standing up for Moderate values.

Barak Obama wants to be a moderate. He wants to be inclusive and his supporters do not. I am calling ALL of you to task on this.

IF indeed this is your positions then you should stand up for and be counted. You should be on those who are being hate Hillary like pigs on slop.

I find you are not. You being the collective majority of Barak Obama supporters. This is my contention and if blanket statements meant to reproach 90 percent of those vocal and politically active seems to cover the innocent then unfortunately one should simply step up to the plate and stand up and be counted.

I am a Hillary Clinton Supporter. I stepped up to the plate and wrote her an open letter to step down for the good of the party. I dont like it. I wanted her to be the nominee but Im willing to step up for whats best for this party and for America.

I find 95 percent of the Obama supporters are not willing to step up to the plate and embrace his MODERATE, lets all get along and become friends again campaign. What I find in reading their discourses is anything but moderate.

So I have two bits of advice. If you indeed want to be moderate then you need to write that. Show that. Stop calling Hillary names damnit. We have had enough of that this last 5 years.

Its time to step up to the plate and demand that Obama be the moderate that he claims but even more so that those who support this BE THE MODERATE THAT THEY CLAIM.

Until I see evidence of this I will continue pointing fingers and calling people out and asking them to defend their inciting rhetoric.

I find it very revealing that Obama supporters biggest claim is that Barak Obama wants to be moderate and a Uniter and yet here are people like Mr. Strickings posting positions like this that is an attack upon Hillary for attempting to talk to the other side and illicit some support.

This is revealing because Barak as part of the broader democratic strategy would not participate in Fox news sponsored debates and yet fall all over themselves for debates held by the Obama rooting MSNBC. This again is revealing for a candidate who purports to be a Moderate. Uniter. Candidate of change who will bring Republicans over to "Our Side."

He wont even talk to Fox news. How is this a sign of a moderate, Uniter?

So the candidate who was Barak Obama when he threw his hat in the ring was one thing. His supporters have turned him into something entirely different. It is the supporters of Barak Obama who are driven to destroy Hillary. They seemingly will stop at nothing.

These supporters as I see them will stop at nothing to win. Winning is everything.

This is not Obama doing this. This is his supporters.

This post was SURROGATES. Polimom. This is a discussion about SURROGATES fighting the political battles. That was what I addressed. Sorry that you feel offended by what I perceive as the truth about the surrogate battles of this primary.

Theres a difference between Gay and sissy. I know a lot of straight men who are sissies. I know some(I don't know a lot)of gay men who could whoop me in a fair fight.

I know a lot of women that could whoop me in a fair fight. They are straight too.

This post is another example of what happens when you dare to make fun of Obama. In short we will raze your homes, burn your barn and kill your women and children. We showed Bush. We will show you.

Its like Barak Obama's position on Iran. We want our enemy to know we are reasonable. If they toe the line, give up their policies and do what we tell them they can be our friend.

If not? We will be mean to them.

I used to think I was a moderate but judging by the disturbing Moderation coming from Obama supporters I guess I am now no where near being moderate.

Barak Obama can get along with Iran and make them our buddies and strike a deal with them. He can Bring Ahmadinejad to the table and look into his soul and work out compromises.

But the party cant work with people like Scaiffe?

Why? Have we tried or have we so gone off the deep end that trying with Americans is harder then Making Iran our buddy?

I suggest that Hillary is the only moderate Democrat in this campaign. She has shown a willingness to work with Republicans. Compromise principals to vote her heart and conscience. Obama. He just votes party lines and proclaims himself a moderate.

With each passing day the puzzle that is the Obama bandwagon is becoming clearer and clearer. There is no desire to be moderate. No desire to work with the GOP. We just want to have a veto proof majority so we can cram it down their freakin throats. Those supporting Obama dont want to work with and be moderate. They want their agenda fulfilled and their writings are starting to show this disturbing trend.

Barak Obama is defined by his supporters. His supporters clearly want WAR with Hillary and with the Right wing Evil.

People dont listen to me when I tell them that the failed immigration bill was the beginning of the end for this country.

You delay the inevitable if you can continue the mass influx of immigrants into this country who NEED STUFF. When you have a continuing expansion of people NEEDING STUFF, then you cannot have a recession. You might end up with stagflation but you cannot have a recession.......when supply is barely able to keep up with demand then a recession is pushed around the corner.

So when the immigration bill failed, the Bush Administration started cracking down on employers and rounding up Illegals and sending them back home then even this little bit of crimping down was all it took coupled with Iraq,Tax cuts and 120 dollar a barrell gasoline.

A couple years ago the prevailing wisdom was that in current dollars the US could withstand 70 or 80 dollar a barrel oil but that the breaking point would come at between 100 and 120. Well guess what.

Leaving Iraq will not bring oil prices down because the war in Iraq has nothing to do with the price of oil. China and India have everything to do with the price of oil.

So Ultimately my view is that the sooner we leave Iraq and the sooner the middle east goes up in flames and the sooner we have to find other ways to fuel our lust for comfort the sooner the day of reckoning will arrive.

The bible says that the middle east will burn in the end times. I believe the end is here. We have yet to reveal who is the Antichrist. McCain? Hillary? Obama? Mabey a brokered convention and someone else?

120 dollar a barrel oil and no relief in sight. Pulling out of Iraq today will only see the price continue upward. The end is here.

The only way you pay for this kind of plan is to Pay for this kind of plan.

Just as we pay to eat. Pay to drive our cars. Pay taxes. Pay for rent.

However I believe that in this country there is still a sincere lack of will to provide adequate health care coverage for the average American. The kind of health care coverage that exists in Canada or England or in other countries is not feasible in the United States.

Instead we should concentrate on providing preventative medicine, prescription drug coverage as well as Catastrophic coverage of say anything over 25,000 dollars with modest premiums of say 1 percent of your income based upon last years taxes. To pay for this we should institute a national one penny sales tax which is added to the states already current sales tax and then the proceeds are forwarded on to Washington.

In addition taxes should be raised for everyone on the order of about 3 percent which would pay for this type of coverage.

NO.......its not perfect. But until you actually get something on the books their will be 100 years of think tanks, books written, government studies, debates and when we finally come to a logical conclusion then we will have more debates, filabusters and on and on it goes.

Get it on the books, see how to pay for it then move on. Add to it, tweak it, change it but get it done.

Once we have it in place then we can address how to pay for the coverage gap. In the meantime people will get the health care they need because we have covered 3 of the 4 legs of the health care chair.

Actually I watched the actual event on tv last night and it could be Barak Obamas........Michael Dukakis moment. You know, where he dawned the tank helmet and looked like Mel Brooks in Space Balls.

Barak Obama looked totally incompetent. Obviously riding in a tank is not a requirement for being president as is bowling, but when a candidate does anything to make them look human and it ends up making them look like Steve Urkel then its never a positive thing for them.

I believe its a good 10 to 15 percent of both sides that will never stomach pulling the lever for the other and thats just bad for the party. period.

As a Hillary fan I must admit I am a bit put off by the Michigan and Florida fiasco.

But, and this is the honest truth. I understand that it is almost certain that Barak Obama is the nominee. That being said the day they announced that for sure, no matter what these two votes would not count I was furious.

At the time I was like most democrats assuming that Hillary was most likely going to be the nominee but more then that I was furious with the party because we were beyond angry over a couple thousand votes in Florida. We were beyond angry at supposedly lost votes in Ohio and then this.

A huge slap in the face of voters and a great big "Double Standard" round of applause for the most incompetent and inept DNC chairman I have seen in a long, long time.

Its the Votes Stupid. Votes count. Except when..........

Democrats will never be able to scream about votes not counting again. We have trashed a cherished value for the sake of expediency and to punish two states for going it alone and yet. Millions.....literally millions of democrats are disenfranchised.

That is my anger. My beef and my take on the absolute and flat out wrongness of what has transpired from day one over this issue.

The accuse Hillary of this win at all costs mentality yet they themselves have worked hard at making sure no revote is done in Michigan and Florida knowing it will hurt them.

They eagerly accept GOP crossover votes rationalizing it as independents who are tired of the status quo.

Demanding Hillary give up even though they themselves do not have the votes necessary to win. Yet their rationalization is that they are ahead so that should be good enough. SHHHH......never mind how we got ahead. All that matters is we are ahead.

Hypocrisy and arrogance should be their catchphrase. Not Change.

Nothing is changing except whose name will be on the door.

It continues to be the position of the Obama campaign that Hillary cant take the lead so the fight should be over and Obama should be declared the winner even though according to the rules, he himself will not have the votes needed to win either.

And the only way to ensure an Obama win is to throw out Michigan and Florida whom would have voted heavily for Clinton. What a sad state of affairs.

Brokered convention with neither of these people getting the nomination is my choice. Bill Richarson and Joe Biden for 08.

Your selective memory left out the fact that Hillary's surprising margin of victory in Ohio came as a result of Republicans crossing over and voting for her.

And just substitute the worlds Hillary for Obama............and you get a surprising victory for Obama in the primary process that the GOP should have no business being involved in. Because it has been a surprise that Obama has unseated Hillary until the GOP went way out of their way to vote for Obama and against hillary when the results, especially early on in this election clearly showed Hillary with a sizeable and comfortable lead over Obama until he picked up a head of steam by a stream of victories all in GOP states or with the blessings of GOP crossovers

Given the low chance that Hillary will overtake Obama in the pledged delegate count or popular vote, I think she should concede now. Beating McCain, the candidate of more war(s), should be the first priority of all Democrats. The sooner the better.

Everyone continues to miss the point of the superdelegate.

The superdelegate was invented to save the party from themselves.

Republicans crossed over in huge numbers to vote Hillary out and Obama in. Good for Obama supporters, bad for the party. A Majority of Obamas strength comes from states that will vote for McCain. Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota, Georgai, Mississippi, etc.etc.etc. Hispanics vot e for Hillary, they will vote for McCain vs. Obama. Blacks vote 90 percent for whomever is the Democrat. Obama or Hillary.

The long and the short. The super delegates are there to save the party from itself and this is one case where the party needs to be saved from Obama and the reckless arrogance of the republicans who crossed over and voted for Obama to insure that Hillary is not elected.

Europe bears the brunt of responsiblity for the failures in Russia to assimilate themselves into a pro western democracy.

Instead of a hands on approach in which money, credits and help of all kind were channeled into a desperate Russia the world led by Europe and the USA started criticizing them for not having perfect equal rights. High crime. Low standard of living. On and on the west chastised a fledgling new democracy with one simple reason in mind.

They did not want to give Russia any aid and ultimately have them as a huge competitor for goods and services and a large consumer of an ever decreasing pool of goods and services available worldwide.

It was economic survival of the world to keep Russia a third world country. Well now with China and India exploding onto the world scene with their HUGE populations and voracious appetites for goods and services and OIL, suddenly Russia and her vast energy reserves finds herself in the catbirds seat and able to dictate to the West terms of her own choosing.

So what started out as a shrewd concept to prevent one more country from being in competition with the rest of the world has turned into a major headache. It also points to one more reason why this country needs to find alternative means for fueling our wants and needs.

Until we do Russia will have no reason to make a good life for their citizens. They will just keep raking in the cash from desperate nations for their oil and gas.

You know how we can tell which side someone is on in this primary?

If they are calling other people names. Its almost guaranteed they are from the Obama camp. If they are spinning, twisting and distoring facts they could be from either camp.

Like the above. Clinton did not win Texas. Technically no. Technically yes. Depends on which yardstick your using. But one yardstick that becomes true.

Already the Obama camp is starting the smear about McCain and his war record. Making fun in an ugly way about almost everything he says and does.

WHY?WHY? Is Obama suddenly immune to all this. Why do we cry havoc and let slip the dogs of unjustice when his negatives are talked about, put forward and discussed.

Why? Because the progressive/antiwar who are Barak Obamas biggest supporters learned over the course of the last 5 years how to destroy anything that stands in their way. Republicans who once stood up to them have been beaten down with the truth.

The horrid fear is that we will learn the truth about a candidate with no record that just popped up from the inner city of Chicago and whose benefactors are Oprah Winfrey.....and tony something or other..Jeremiah Wright. Whose chruch is apparently racist but we are not allowed to talk about that. Whose house was perhaps funded with ill gotten gains, but were not allowed to talk about that. Who has voted lock step with Democrats but promises us to include Republicans but were not allowed to talk about that.

Any single negative about this man is turned into we are racist bigots filled with scum.

Why is it such a travesty to not be able to dig into Obama's life? We are being asked to accept him on faith.

I question everything about this man. Because we cannot scrutinize him. Because nothing sticks to him because from day one he came out and preached until we all thought it the truth that no matter what you hear about me.

Its all lies.

No matter what they say.

They are trying to Bamboozle you.

No matter how bleak things appear about me.

They are all racists trying to hoodwink you.

And we believed. I truly wonder who is the racist and who is the victim of racism in this primary? I wonder. I will be beaten down for daring to ask a question that is in the back of everyones mind.

This has been the point that Obama supporters make. Obama can't be responsible for what Wright says or anyone else.

But when it comes to Hillary supporters saying something then the perception and the spin is that Hillary is a puppet master and she somehow manipulated them into saying something.

I have written before that this is a war of surrogates because Obama and Hillary are so very much alike in where they stand on the issues that the only way to define themselves in ways that makes the other look bad and not make themselves look bad in the process is to have others do it for you.

The winner is clearly Barak Obama for one simple reason.

He has done almost nothing in his political career for anyone to impugn. Case closed. As Fox news said about two weeks ago. The democrats are stuck with Obama. He is the candidate for november. They just havent finished screaming yet.

And the statesmen's political lives depended on slavery. The three-fifths formula handed Jefferson his narrow victory in the presidential election of 1800 by inflating the votes of the southern states in the Electoral College. Once in office, Jefferson extended slavery with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803; the new land was carved into 13 states, including three slave states.

Comparing Obama to our founding fathers is actually an insult to him. Slavery was big business to them and they endorsed it no less so by acts of omision then commission.
