To me, it's always been a phrase that is used to say the subject is called that because of the nature of its name.e

I meant no disrespect. I hope you got the impression from reading the story that its purpose was to inform those who may need the county veterans office director's help would come to realize more about him, where he is and what they might receive if they go there.

I'd like thank you and Mr. Fox for responding. I understand no disrespect was intended and appreciate the articles your paper has printed covering this.

Many people over the years, bloggers, journalists, sceptics, have used the so-called wording to further weaken public understanding and belief it even exists. I should have made that more clear in my initial email and I apologize for that. After many, many years of being told I have a "so-called illness that is all in my head", it is a bit of a flashpoint with me.

In general, I figure there are usually three basic ways to handle them:
1) Ignore them/bury them - being a guy helps here, we tend to be able to do that naturally; however, I have historically sucked at ignoring them well.
2) Express them completely, as you suggest - this is difficult normally (see guy note above) but is more so considering the thoughts, etc, in question.
3) Do what I'm doing; post little ramblings like the above which helps exorcise them temporarily, but in truth, ends up exacerbating things by dancing around, prolonging, toying with it rather that really dealing with it head on, but where is the fun and torture in that?
For one who has been around a bit and seen a few things, I am quite the adolescent at times such as these. How's that for not really expressing anything in 250 words or more?

I don't know... I have a theory but am tentative to share it... Suffice to say, they seemed appropriate for the now and reminded me of me too often too admit to and felt a strong need to post them (besides the fact it is a really good song).

The right thing. Period. We forget, ignore even, how other countries look at our actions and cannot believe how callous those actions are. To ignore the fact there is a case against Bush only makes us worse.

But, no, it is not elitist. Rather, it is a realistic look at the compatibility issue. I just hope the thought that the sledge hammer somehow compliments the surgical scalpel doesn't come into play, as some think.
