When will they realize to stop targeting the iPhone's flaws? All they do is make their own, which in turn, are flaws already overcome by the iPhone and the services/apps behind it?

I give it time, and Android as an OS will overcome the iPhone OS by leaps and bounds.

No it is not, the disk is free, you just have to request it. I like the PS3 version over some other versions because you can browse the entire library, not just what is on your instant query.

Haven't paid much attention to the release of "watch instantly" for Netflix on the PS3. It's probably worth my patience to wait for a soft release. I have enough sources now where I can pick up instant content of Netflix.

Is it extra for instant content based on the source (ConnectedTV vs Xbox 360 vs PS3)?

I read your comment last night, but spent the time between then and now to think of a reason why I would need more than one keyboard.

Why didn't they just go with a soft key option. Are people that anal they want to hear something click? They should consider an old school Treo or something.

Size isn't much of a problem for me, either.

The Droid has the option of using either. You can use the soft/touch in vert/horizontal or the slider.

BTW even with the slider this phone is barely thicker than the 3GS.

To be honest Firefox is all I use, except at work. The company Intranet isn't fully functional in Firefox, and it's the most critical of items which I need for day to day that don't work. If it was something small like our internal directory, I'd be 100% Firefox.

Nobody likes IE because of how out dated it is. You might think modern day IE is good, but under the hood it is still a nightmare for developers, so nobody supports it. To much work. Get Firefox if on windows!

Thanks for the review. I'm looking to build up my first real blog. In most cases people suggested MediaTemple as a hosting solution. Now I'm aware of their competition.

Yeah, jailbreaking has come along way. I had no problems with the process and it was very easy to do. I am going to do a post about how to jailbreak your phone this weekend so hang tight.

Nice approach to counteract the lack of background support on the iPhone. I agree with you as far as the GPS apps losing their position. I get frustrated enough when I use maps. The last time I went through a jailbreaking session the phone was a total loss, so I haven't tried since then. Before that, it was a 1st gen.

How much has the Jailbroken app scene evolved since the release of the 3G a year ago?

Do followers really matter these days? I would think it's impossible to actually communicate if you're in excess of 1,000 users, even if you made Twitter a full-time job.

These days you could easily obtain that many followers by just looking for company sponsored handles. Don't expect much communication outside of their typical postings.

I would be in line myself if AT&T's service wasn't outdated, partially because of T-Mobile not trying hard enough to catch up to the competition.

AT&T's 3G service still remains capped at 3.6Mbps download, where in other countries HSDPA is up to twice that. The iPhone 3GS is set to support those speeds, but what good is it if the carrier doesn't? Just like T-Mobile is now: Approximately 15% of their coverage area across the US was moved over to 3G. The difference is it was BEFORE their flagship phones, the G1 and the latest Sidekick, were released. The proposed dates for the initial 3G rollout were met by T-Mobile, whereas AT&T still refuses to lay out concrete dates to move their customers to the next level.

It's amazing how obsolete we are, considering the amount of money us foolhardy iPhone/iPhone 3G/3GS users spend not only on the hardware, but on the services as well.

Finally, I would jump on Verizon if the iPhone were to be ported to CDMA. Verizon picked the wrong fruit (read: Blackberry) to support it's first touchscreen mobile handheld.
