Trust me, it is quite a big deal to Australians that so many people voted in the US elections, our nations fate is tied to yours in numerous ways. The worlds problems have not disappeared overnight but at least now we can resume [i]meaningful[/i] discussions with the US administration to solve the problems. We have mandatory voting in Australia so we don't have problems with people not turning up, the problem here lies with disaffected youth making uninformed votes.
